i can't believe what i'm hearing. For shame.

Gaming websites say all of their machines they've played work fine up until now, but there are reports of some people's consoles screwing up. ie: Yeah some have bugs but the majority of 360's work fine.

i'll add "Hurt" by j. cash and "Under Pressure" by Queen as great covers. There are lots of great covers. I think the best ones are the ones that take a ho-hum song nobody really likes and makes them awesome (to the point where nobody really knows that it is actually a cover).

You can't definately say Microsoft cut supply purposely, or if they just couldn't make their orders in time. Nobody really knows FOR SURE what the reason is for the short supply, and you won't find any conclusive evidence anywhere on the web (i haven't seen any). The only people that know what happened is Microsoft, unfortunately. My friend pre-ordered a 360 from EB Games, and they couldn't fullfil his order and he still doesn't have his yet. Lots of that happening everywhere as i'm sure you know. 3. I agree, Perfect Dark isn't the only good game. Project Gotham Racing 3, Kameo, Call of Duty 2, King Kong, Ridge Racer etc. have all gotten good reviews. - And people looking not as impressed with the 360 graphics need to also remember that the developers who made the games that are out now didn't have access to real Xbox 360's (since the 360 hardware wasn't finalized yet) until late in the design process. Virtually all 360 games out now were mostly designed and developed on PowerMac G5 computers, which had only 80% of the power the current 360 consoles have. - p.s. I'm an Xbox guy myself (though i own a PS2). The PS2 was pretty good but IMO the Xbox was better in every capacity, ie: Better graphics, better online, better controller, the harddrive, & most all multi-console games look/play better on Xbox. PS2 trumps Xbox in 2 areas: 1) PS2 controller has a much better rumble feature, and 2) PS2 has more games. I didn't buy a 360 since i'm waiting until the 2nd generation of 360 consoles to come so M$ can work out the bugs...which are inevitable for consoles when they are 1st released. I'm also eager to see what the PS3 can do, but preference all really comes down to hwta kind of games you like and what you're used to.

You shouldn't have responded to my post then! That part of my post was a joke. And the joke worked! There are certainly a lot more posts in this Gomery thread than the other Gomery thread i previously posted. I'd recommend u guys move this debate to another thread. I am not an NDP supporter. I have never voted NDP. But i think them a better alternative to run this country than the Liberals. If Svend Robinson was under investigation before he confessed to his crime then that would change things. Yes he is a thief, and I probably wouldn't vote for him. However there is a still a big difference in what Robinson did and what the Liberals have done. More or less, i see what Robinson did as a solitary immoral act done by one person in the NDP party. 1 bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch (as Donny Osmonde would say). However, if there were several NDP'ers who stole rings in some sort of scheme then that would be similar to what the Liberals had done (but in a much smaller scale), and my trust in the NDP would fall sharply. Svend Robinson and his buddies would have to steal a lot of friggin' rings to equal what the Liberals have stolen and/or wasted.

Matt, Yeah, a lot of parties do give out handouts before elections, but the Liberals are one of the worst i've seen. The funny thing is though, most of the handouts will be taken back or cancelled after the election if the Liberals win again. As for the budget, the Libs under-estimate the budget simply to make themselves look good, knowing full well that they'll likely have a surplus. Martin did this well when he was Finance Minister. If you end up with a surplus you look like a very responsible gov't, if you end up overbudget you don't look as hot. Its similar in business, as large companies tend to be more conservative in their earning estimates for their stockholders because if they make more than expected it looks good for the company, but if they make less it makes it seem like the company may be in some trouble. In terms of liars, yeah politicians are all a bunch of liars in some form. But some are worse than others. Take Dalton McGuinty and Mike Harris. McGuinty said on his network TV commercials when running for Ontario Premier that he "won't cut taxes, but won't raise them either", but then the 1st thing he does when elected was raise taxes. Then look at Mike Harris. He said in his campaign what he was going to do, & then we he got elected he did it...and everyone got PO'd !?! Also, with the NDP Svend guy, yeah he stole something. It was a ring, not hundreds of millions of our tax dollars. And he then confessed to it on his own (if i remember correctly) & was crying and obviously felt like shit. Had some sort of emotional breakdown or something. Now that isn't good either, but at least he freely admitted it & apoligized for it. I can forgive someone like that (maybe i wouldn't vote for them), but can't forgive someone like Chretien or countless other crooked politicians who only regret getting caught. Don't know why you are defending the Liberals so strongly. You'll find corruption, power-grabbing, & greed in any party, but the Liberals take it to the extreme & to a point well beyond acceptable.

Hello Time Bomb is the worst track on Rooms and it sucks. I'm not sure why MG felt just because he was doing acoustic, he needed to make every song a slow song. You can still rock with acoustic guitars.

I like The Doors. I love "The End", as well as "Break On Through" and "Riders On The Storm". Maybe a little overrated because they didn't get to release a ton of stuff (re: singers dying) but they are still awesome and a totally cool band. Morrison has a rad voice. Hendrix is cool too.

they may have had avian flu, but was it the exact strain that is in China causing mass fear? There's lot of avian flu's similar to the one in China, but isn't the EXACT same one.

I voted LOTGA cuz its the one i enjoy most from start to finish, but Avalanche is a close 2nd.

I voted Alert Status Red, but would have voted Hello Time Bomb if it were on there. His most rockin' song ever.
