i really don't have any HUGE favorites, as most of my favorite movies are directed by a wide variety of directors with few repeats. The closest might be Rob Reiner. He directed 'This is Spinal Tap', 'Stand By Me', and 'When Harry Met Sally', all of which are in my top 10-15 movies of all-time.

Its a fact that women's washrooms are dirtier than men's washrooms. Studied have been done. Men usually just use the urinals and then leave (half the time not even washing their hands so no mess at the sinks LOL), while women... 1) Women ALWAYS use the tiolet bowl when going piss or poo-poo, and thus need to use toilet paper too so you got paper all over the place & unflushed tiolets up the wazoo. And u got more clogged tiolets. 2) Women got tampons and pads to deal with and all that nasty steez so they throw their wrappers everywhere. 3) Women put on make-up and all that crap, and use paper to wipe their makeup and that shit is thrown everywhere. 4) Sometimes women give birth to babies in the bathroom stalls. Ok maybe this last point isn't true.

Video was a disappointment. For such an epic such, you can't just go all random on it. I believe the director made the song a soundtrack to his cartoon ideas instead of making the cartoon to fit the song.

Toronto's Centre Of The Universe Complex?
Moonlight_Graham replied to ecnarf's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
Just like how the U.S's population is so large because of its multiculturalism right? don't tell me to educate myself about multiculturalism when you donm't even know what it means. You are bang-on on that Harris is one of the only Canadian politicians i can remember also that actually did what he said he was going to do. He did what he said, made the unemployed & welfare because "work for welfare" (which got my lazy drunk uncle off his ass and working) and other things. But of course then people didn't like it and voted him out. And now voters in Ontario (and most Canadians) will vote for a liar like McGuinty who promises the word and then goes back on his promises the minute he gets elected. And about the multi-culturism point, he didn't say he hated multi-culturism, he said it was annoying. Parades everyday for each ethnic group and having to be politically correct all the time could get annoying to some people. Yeah it is. But there is no city with more multiculturalism/immigrants (with possible exception of Vancouver?) than Toronto. So if you did think multiculturalism is annoying, i'd guess Toronto would be the worst place to live for that. -
What Songs Should Be Acoustic Next?

I remember when he quit. He was the bald guy who played bass right? I think i remember that it being said at the time, or him saying, that the reason was that he wasn't getting the musical satisfaction playing in the band anymore. I'm not certain thats true, but thats what i remember. It stuck with me because the guy almost looked pissed off in photos so at the time i thought him leaving was probably good because he didn't look so happy. or whatever.

Never been to an MG concert. But i'd imagine seeing MG in a bar that only holds 250 people and watching him play an all-acoutsic set would be a pretty rare opportunity. Has he done this stuff before? You think he'll do it sometime in the future? I can't go to the concert, so i'm just wondering on what i'm missing out on.

Annabelle - Ahhh!! How do i choose between one of my 2 fav songs? You bastard! But i vote for Annabelle because i know Omen will smoke it anyways. Fated Go Fly Blind - Why do all the MG demos get killed in votes? I love those LOTGA-style songs. Fearless - One of my top fav MG songs Apparitions - the rooms version is almost as good, he plays it with more passion than any other rooms song...Probably cuz he's played it so much and knows it so well. Double Life - only because Rico sucks. hard. Song For The Girl - both are "meh" Alabama Motel Room Comfortable Criminals - Such an awesome song! Could have been a single.

I'm thinking it was a reference to U2's Rattle and Hum; the album opens with U2 covering The Beatles' "Helter Skelter," before which Bono says, "Charles Manson stole this song from the Beatles... we're stealing it back." PS, I haven't been on an MG/MGB message board for years! At the show last night I was wondering if there still was one... hi! HI! welcome.

how many people usually show up at an MG concert? I'm probably going to the Ottawa concert on Monday so i'd be interested to know how big the crowd may be.

Bands That You Respect
Moonlight_Graham replied to mrjones's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
Ditto for Nirvana. Like some songs though. Also give a nod to blues/jazz artists. Not into that stuff but many of them are good musicians.
