Thoughts? Me: Not an really apple guy, not because i don't like them, just because i've never really been exposed much to their tech. I've never even own a portable MP3 player in my life. So i can look at this thing sorta with a new user view who has no iPod touch full of apps etc. i could transfer over etc. or am in love with touch screens. IMO thing is not a mass-market machine. if any other company in the world had its logo on it, it would sell so-so if at all. People will buy it, but purely b/c its Apple and The machine itself is ok, but its insanely overpriced when you compare it to a laptop of netbook. I can see this catching on for people who want to read digital books, and people crazy for Apple apps. Would be nice to have something like this to easily throw in the backpack for school or something. It has potential, if only it had a bit more storage and features. No webcam, but im sure it will come. Can't multi-task (a joke), can't display everything on the internet (i hear it dont run Flash) and the major thing for me is the storage: $500 U.S. for a 16 GB iPad. Dumbest thing ever. fairly cheap netbooks have 160 GB storage. Another thing for me is the general fundamental design....you have to hold it. Fuck that. Laptops you just rest on any surface and use it. I don't want to hold it when i'm reading something, though i suppose it wouldn't be so bad if you are at a desk, or laying on your bed/couch and lean it on your leg. It also sucks balls u can't get new apps etc. that aren't approved by Apple, how Nazi Microsoft. It has really good potential. A PC you can just whip out presto, no folding out the keyboard. I heard the keyboard ain't the best on it though, but they can always fix that. But it would need more processing speed and more storage at a cheaper price of me to consider it.

i saw it, and have absolutely no desire to see it again. 3 hours of mediocrity is not worth it again. This film is only worth seeing because of the 3D. I'm really disappointed in James Cameron. Not only is the movie very unoriginal, but most everything in this film has been done at least a dozen times over in other film/media. This movie is one giant cliche.

Loved Knights of the Old Republic. Didn't like Mass Effect, got bored quickly. Never played the 1st Assassin's Creed (reviews > hype). I said screw it & opened Burnout Paradise. Not quite as fun as the other Burnouts but still cool. The new motorbikes are crazy fast!

Did you enjoy it? I wish i picked it up when it was on sale after Xmas for $39.99. GGRRRRR!!!! Just finished pretty much all the games i had, now i gotta get something else. I have Burnout Paradise still in shrinkwrap i just picked up for $20, but i remember in the demo i kinda got PO'd at having to remember which streets to turn off on in the big open world races instead of just focusing on the racing itself...so i dunno if i'm gonna open it or bring it back & maybe track down Burnout Revenge. Anyone else play Bunrout Paradise? Do you get used to the having to turn off onto different streets & losing your way etc.?

I'm mixed on this. On one hand, if i can get some demos, the odd "Matt playing a live tune into his webcam" (that would be wicked!), maybe video from the studio, or video of backstage on tour stuff, even quality tour recordings (Metallica.com offers fans the ability to download as mp3's ANY live show they do on tour etc. for $10 a show, which is very cool), then i'd pay for it if the price was fair for what was offered. I would definitely support another revenue stream for Matt if it meant more music etc. from him & he could afford to host this stuff. I know his intentions are honest & to make a living, not to squeeze fans for any last dime he can get (like some other artists do). On the other hand, i don't like the idea of having to pay for early access to ticket sales. You are basically forcing fans to pay ANOTHER $25 to nab great seats (if they dont want the other content), i don't like when other artists do that. What happened to the days when the guy who was first on the ball when tickets went on sale and/or waited the longest outside the show got the best seats? Even the rehearsal access thing kinda rubs me because other bands have like $50 fan clubs you have to join in order to get into a "raffle" for a chance to get into a meet and greet. But rehearsal access is still a very cool idea in general. you are, and always have been, a complete dick on the boards. There i said it.

Just finished Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, it was a really cool game. Really good story and characters. I don't know why it got mediocre reviews from the critics. I'd give it at least a 8.5/10. Physics are wicked, and some of the environments are graphically insane.

It is an asshole move by NBC, but in the end its just business. Leno's ratings were shit, Conan's i think also down from when Leno had the Tonight show. Leno sucks shit and isn't funny. I wish the best for Conan. Weird if he does go to FOX, because it will be an entirely different show. Likely no Triumph, masterbating bear etc. as NBC probably owns the rights to those characters, and the Robert Smigel (guy who does Triumph) works for NBC. And what about the band etc.? Who knows.

Bought Trials HD from Xbox Live Arcade. Very cool game, however the tracks start out fun with big air jumps etc., but then last half of the tracks are insanely hard where you have to do trial-and-error on the same parts of the courses ad nauseum. There's also not nearly enough tracks that came with the game. The Skills games are very fun. The track creator is a great idea, but you can't download other people's tracks unless they are on your friendlist which is whack.
