Saw them when they opened for Neil Young in 2008. Never really knew much about them. They were ok. The lead guitarist is pretty darn good.

For $2 a month i'll give it a shot. I'm mostly interested in getting some of the extra insight into the music side of things, his creatively process, maybe extra videos of him playing new tunes etc. I think Matt has always wanted to do more with the website, but the money it would take to do it, as he says, would come out of his pocket and be hard to support it himself. I'm sure he'll make a little bit of money out of this venture obviously and it provides another bit of revenue to make a living from, but i think a main goal of it, since seeing the extremely cheap cost to fans for it, is just to be able to give fans a better website experience without it personally killing him financially. It sucks that he just said in his podcast that video will be hard to do because of the size it takes up so audio podcasting will be the norm. I hope he does video for stuff like music. I mean, it would be really good if he just picks up his guitar once in awhile and performs a song in his house (maybe a new one he's working on, like he did with "Kierra-Anne") and sticks the video on the site. That's the stuff i think is worth paying for.

i went on to check it out. quickly browsed through about 10 people. Got a nude guy masturbating, some frat boys just chillin' out, and a big really muscular guy with his shirt off. But most of the people look normal and are just staring at the camera wanting to chat. Unfortunately i dont want to chat with them, it feels too weird.

Hey people, there is a big "Watch Now" link at the top of the page on the Bravo site featuring Matt's performance on the show: http://www.bravo.ca/television/attheconcerthall/ I'm sure that the show will be uploaded onto the Bravo website and be viewable online to stream after the show airs on TV. It's not up yet as i type this (10 minutes before the concert airs), b ut the last few episodes of "At the Concert Hall" are uploaded so i think everyone will be ok if they can't see it, or if they want to rip it direct from the Bravo site.

MG ottawa acoustic show 2007 U2 in montreal in 2000 (or 2001, can't quite remember), was on the Elevation tour. Was AWESOME!!! And before they went a bit cheesy. Metallica last Sept in Montreal, had front-row floor spot, my first Metallica concert ever, crowd was amazing. Caught a pic Kirk Hammett threw into the crowd. But, my most epic was Metallica last Nov on Ottawa, also had a front-row floor spot, during a song James Hetfield pointed at me and looked straight in my eyes while riffing for about 5 good seconds. Then i got in a mock-argument near the end of the show with Lars cuz he was motioning to the audience "ok we're done" then i started yelling "get the fuck back to your drums" then he saw me and we traded barbs for like 10 seconds or so, it was hilarious. Then at the end of the show Lars handed me a drumstick, but really made me work for it, he made me jump up on the barricade to reach it, and someone in the band threw me another pick (they throw tons of picks at the end of the show). AWESOME!!!!!! Oh and during the show James played Fade to Black while switching from acoustic to electric guitar, which he hadn't done since about 1986.

For PC, and one that doesn't drain a ton of resources. I used to go with Azureus (Vuze) but that program started including all this all crap like trailer previews and crap that bogged down my PC. Is there something just as good out there?

Good question. The answer is i don't know. In some non-movie stuff like video games etc. there are some imperial pilots, but i don't remember much else where there are women. They must be around. Maybe they just do the housekeeping and make delicious lunches for Tie Fighter pilots etc.?
