Thinking of picking up Assassin's Creed 2. Anybody here like it? I never played the 1st one and don't want to, but i hear the plot is a continuation so i may just brush up on the plot on wikipedia before i start.

The instrumental demo was just "ok" for me. The other demo though was very good. I love that Matt releases these things, thanks man!

The first Bioshock had really cool atmosphere, but im just kinda sick of shooters. Not excited about any of the big new releases for 360 except FFXIII, though they say the story and characters in that game aren't that great. I was interested in the new Splinter Cell until they said they took out the Spies vs Mercs multiplayer, so basically im not buying it.

If you like horror at all, Sandman and Alan Moore's run on Saga of the Swamp Thing (also available in TPB/graphic novel form) is the cream of the crop.

If u are an imperial there's a ton more places to work than the death Star. You can work on a Star destroyer or drive an AT-AT or Speeder Bike or shit like that. I'd say imperial would be better. There equipment is new and shiny, not old pieces of rusted crap. On the down side, there doesn't seem to be ANY women in the empire. Think about it, how many did u see in the movies?

The Maxx, wow that's old school! I still have an original copy of issue #1...that i got off newstand. Yes i'm old. Not a huge big fan of Keith's stylized stuff like Maxx. But his work on stuff like The Sandman is fantastic.

If i raise click the option to raise the resolution of a video (from 360p to 480p or from regular to HD etc.) does it also upgrade the audio quality too? I listen to a lot of music from youtube so im just wondering. Thanks

Just because something new comes out from Apple or Google or Nintendo doesn't mean its any better than something a competitor makes. I hate people who make a giant fucking big deal when something new is released from a particular company they like and then gush or it, when there can be better products that are similar on the market. I'm not super amazing at the game either, i will rarely get a 5 or 6 kill streak, so ya mostly i get care packages and sentries. But random care packages are awesome because you get to try out many of the killstreak rewards you'd normally never use unless you were a pro at the game. It says ive played the game for a total of about 2 days, and from care packages i have received a few Pave Lows so far so you have a chance. Yesterday i actually got my first AC-130!!, which i didn't think care packages let you do. I believe a long time ago i may have also been a helicopter gunner, not sure.

i remember when they were called "trade paperbacks" aka TPB's. I got 3: The Watchmen (had it for several years, shamefully haven't finished it yet) Essential Spider-Man Vol.1 (reprints Amazing Fantasy #15, & 1st 20 original issues of Amazing Spiderman 1960's era) Essential X-Men vol.1 (reprints Giant-Size X-men #1, and the next 20 Uncanny X-men issues by Claremont/Wein/Byrne like #94-116 or something like that). I haven't bought a comic in years, a shame, i used to be huge into it. I want to get all the Swamp Thing TPB's that Alan Moore did, and the Sandman TPB's that Neil Gaimen did, that shit is gold.

Yeah, i use the SCAR too almost exclusively. though i just unlocked a new assault rifle the ACR, its very accurate and i'm fooling around with that. The crappy thing about MW2 is that once you hit about level 40, virtually all the really good weapons/perks etc. have been unlocked. right now im at level 50 and the only thing i'd like to unlock is the AK-47, otherwise there's not much fun in leveling up anymore. Though i did just unlock the Javelin launcher which is hilariously fun and i never see anyone use it. Here's my typical loadout, i play mostly team deathmatch: SCAR (with motion-sensor) AA-12 shotty (with grip) flash/stun grenades claymores perk1: Scavenger Pro (i use this so i can drop a claymore, then resupply from a dead guy, and then drop a 2nd claymore. i get tons of kills this way. Then when someone runs over my claymore & dies i just resupply and drop it down again. Perk also keeps me with tons of shotty ammo) perk2: Hardline or Stopping Power (depending on the map) perk3: Ninja last stand deathstreak

Maybe if u duct-tape the wii-mote to your foot the game will be more fun? right now after a month or so break i'm mega addicted to Modern Warfare 2 online again. Claymores and the automatic shotgun are the 2 most underused weapons in the game. I reign hell will those suckers. I'd say about 1/5 of my total kills are probably just from laying claymores everywhere. And the automatic shotgun is SOOOO badass, you meet a guy around a corner close-range and he has ZERO chance to survive, instant kill!
