Wow, women don't understand women, either. Maybe men and women have more in common than we thought.

Lauren, on any night, I can go outside, watch cars go by, and name about 9/10 from them based solely on the headlight and taillight patterns. Seriously.

Don't worry, it doesn't make you less of a man if you drive a DOHC engine. And oh, it's perfectly acceptable to have a small displacement engine put out a high amount of horsepower (rather than the other way around).

Natural is the only way to go.

And I will always be a sophisticated European with a healty appreciation for the nimble handling the Japanese are putting out. Sooner or later, they're going to stop describing Japanese cars as having "European" handling and start describing European cars as having "Japanese" handling.
-
Absolutely not.

Yep. It was nice to have the chance to actually do something for a change (other than watch TV, that is). All the hard work made the iced cap extra sweet.

I will admit that Chevy makes a nice Z06. And considering the price of that thing, it blows the nearest German competitors out of the water for the amount of power it has. Although it probably wouldn't have the handling. American cars are designed by Americans, and American roads just don't have the extreme twists and turns that you'll find in Europe or Japan.

The only reason those things sound like lawnmowers is because ghetto kids take four-cylinder engines designed for economy and remove the muffler, pathetically trying to turn them into performance cars. The Japanese make better sports cars than the Americans do. See: Miata v. Solstice, S2000 v. Crossfire, Lancer v. Focus, Skyline v. whatever pathetic substitute you care for. The only two cars I can think of without direct Japanese competition are the Corvette and the Viper, both of which could have their asses handed to them by the finer German and Italian brands.
-
Yeah, you keep telling yourself that. You can have your highway cruisers, I'll kick your ass in the twisties.

I had an iced cap today. God that was amazing. Especially when you're moving heavy things around.

Better yet, viva la [any Japanese brand here]. Random fact: Dodge is owned by DaimlerChrysler, not GM.

That's why when you're taking Viagra they can't give you nitroglycerin if you have a heart attack. And other things I learned watching in-flight movies. -
Having now read the first post of this thread, I'll do what's asked of me. 1. My ex is nonexistent, but the closest substitute is a bit weird. 2. I am listening to the fan spinning around. 3. Maybe I should get off my ass and do something. 4. I love no I don't. 5. My best friend died a year ago? No he didn't. 6. I don't understand why a negative number multiplied by a negative number equals a positive number, but get those questions right anyways. 7. I lose most bets I place. 8. People say a lot of things, none of which are true. 9. The meaning of my screen name is a country's name backwards. You got a problem with that? 10. Love is just past both genius and insanity. 11. Somewhere, someone is doing something better than this. 12. I will always remember that if you have to give an excuse that involves the word "girlfriend", you are automatically wrong. 13. Forever is not a good word to start a sentence with. 14. I never want to find myself in jail. 15. My mobile phone is also nonexistnet. 16. When I wake up in the morning I start regretting what I did the night before. 17. I get annoyed all the fucking time. 18. Parties are where a bunch of white kids dance to black music. 19. My cat is also nonexistent. 20. Kisses are the worst when you open your eyes and find out it's actually a dude on the other end. 21. Today I helped my uncle move. 22. Tonight I will go to sleep. 23. Tomorrow I will wake up and maybe watch some F1 if there's a race this weekend. 24. I really wanted this whole thing to be better than how it turned out.

There probably is, but it hasn't found its way to me yet. Suffice to say the two of them are appropriately nuts and putting the two of them together without the presence of womenfolk would result in a great number of things catching on fire or blowing up. Lo and behold, an argument did break out between me and another ribfest-goer. But that was because they were standing in front of us as the fireworks were going. Why the hell is it with these Carribbean stereotypes that when you tell them to do something (i.e. not stand in our way) they try to use strawmen techniques to draw attention to the fact that we didn't say "please" when they're being fucking ignorant? God, I hate people.

You guys are nuts. I want an ES-335, but I wouldn't shell out big bucks for a Matt's 335 unless it was as an investment. And I can't say that a guitar owned by Matt Good has a large selling audience.

Now that's how you make an impression. My uncle was telling me today that when he was introduced to his future brother-in-law (that is, his wife's sister's boyfriend) they were at some fancy restaurant and they were left alone at the table. Then some waiter, trying to make creme brulee, set himself on fire, and they burst into laughter. So my uncle told his sister-in-law that she had to marry the guy. And she did. Now they aren't allowed to be alone together anymore.

There's your problem. Fun in Calgary? Ha ha ha. P.S. Seanathon - wouldn't it be cool if we met but didn't know it and got into a fight over a parking space (or something like that) and whining about it on the Bored?
-
Roberts is coming back to TO. Rumour has it that might get Nieuwendyk to return as well.
-
You just want the bored to yourself.
-
That was not subtle at all.

So are most rational people.

Braggart. I've always been good at spelling.

But you're humble about it.
