Of course. Any idiot can see that rising temperatures will cause ice to melt, which will cause sea levels to rise, and I'm the kind of guy that tends to agree with people who know what they're talking about. I saw a clip of the movie pertaining to rising sea levels, and I think Gore's figure of 20 feet was based upon the whole of Antarctica melting. Interesting fact: It would only take a global temperature drop of 4 degrees Celcius for a "nuclear winter" type scenario to take place. If such a small dip in temperature can have a disastrous effect in the cold direction, just fucking imagine what it could do in the hot direction.

I know plenty of people, including myself, who have both dogs and cats that live together just fine. Sucks that it happened though. Pets can get extremely territorial out of the blue, which would be my guess for why it happened. My understanding is that cats and dogs work best together when the cat lives there first, then the dog is brought in as a puppy and is used to living with the cat. Though generally cats like being inside and alone a lot, while dogs prefer being outside and with people. P.S. Lauren I bet your bunny was way cuter than you.

I hate to be the first asshole in this thread, but did you consider the ramifications of keeping dogs and cats in the same living quarters and still not expect something like this to happen? P.S. Last September my rabbit died of flystrike. Sadly, the flies struck while we were away camping and when we came back it was too late to save her.

I had a dream that Wal-Mart opened up an amusement park near this military armoury that I frequent and they were all "DON'T PARK YOUR CAR AT THE ARMOURY OR THEY WILL FUCK IT UP PARK IT SOMEWHERE ELSE" and when I got there I just parked it there and was about to go into the park and I remembered I forgot to move the car to another parking space but the army guys already took it away. So then I spent a little while wandering around using the "panic" button to find the car and it was inside and the army guys put a whole load of dirty tools and stuff inside the car to fuck with me. Then the general comes along and starts yelling at me, and I eventually took all the crap out of the car and drove off. Weirdest dream ever, and not very realistic to real life.

There was some talk of merging the fare systems of the GTA with a smart card, but I think that was between mississauga transit, YRT, TTC and Pickering Transit. I don't know if GO was involved. You would probably still need to pay every time you switched between services.
