  1. Ouch.. that's a lot you've got invested into that neon now.
  2. Hey, not sure if you've solved this yet.. but if your in your windows environment it won't let you format that partition since it's a system partition, Basically just boot off your XP cd, and follow the instructions here. http://www.windowsxpprofessional.windowsre...dexfullpage.htm only you'll get a repair option when your going through this.. Select escape to not repair, then it will show you the partitions then you can delete that pesky C: partition. It might also inform you it's a system partition, and you have to press L then Enter to confirm.
  3. Hey not to sure if you've fixed this issue yet.. But go to tool's and accounts and make sure you don't have both email accounts listed in there. if they are outlook will check both accounts when you click on send/receive or when it runs automatically.
  4. Good ol AVG and Windows Vista firewall (with UAC) For me. and yeah sounds like a Anti Virus issue, When Vista first rolled out it didn't work with Vista at all... I should know I had to take the freaken dell support calls about it.. lol
  5. Mexico 6am, after like 7 or 8 hours delay in Toronto... needless to say 24 hours with no sleep.. but I made sure to hit the beer fridge hard and head to breakfast to start my day of drinking.
  6. Colin.. even with an SRT-4 it's still a neon at heart.. so it's bound to have the same problems... ;) rice powered civic all the way..
  7. Next time I'll be sure not to miss you in my civic then Colin.

  9. It technically could, if it was coded to attack the Mac OS, but since the population of Mac user's is still a lot less then the windows desktop, people don't even bother with it. Some one forwarded me a link to a report about the new Mac OS and it had a ton of security flaws in it.
  10. Cool Cool, yeah I remember trying to get the wireless working with my old HP laptop, it was a lot easier then I closed K wallet and my wireless stopped working. I never got a chance to look into it because one of my friends needed a laptop after someone she knew let her laptop slide off the roof of a moving car..
  11. That's true.. I'm still a slave to Microsoft, although I have a bit of a Linux background as well. I just don't seem to have the time to try and fully go 100% Linux Prosis what distro are you running?
  12. True.. or you could run a Mac OS, because no one would bother writing malicious code for it.
  13. Not only do they not get along most of the time, it's going to slow your system down. Sticking with one AV, is the best possible solution.
  14. So I guess the End of Dell Ottawa might have come faster than expected.. http://www.ottawabusinessjournal.com/291518150506891.php http://lfpress.ca/newsstand/Business/2008/...801337-sun.html again. SOOOOOO glad I got out when I did.. Apparently they are going to increase security at the All hands meeting tomorrow.. I for see a ton of people being walked out at that time. and on a side note, I still haven't gotten my end of employment papers from them... and I quit on April 4th.
  15. just to piss you off.. I'll post one over the summer Colin.
