Wow, you got him to sign the back of your CD insert, not the front. Thats a great idea! Sometimes i don't want an autograph on my CD cover because it sorta messes it up. I may use this idea if i ever get a CD signed from anyone on a CD cover i really like and don't want scribbled on. btw instead of the shirt u should have got Matt to sign your boobs. Thats REAL rock n' roll! I have been trying both ways.

I have a few MG autographs, some in person and some from pre-signed posters i bought at the concerts. They all look pretty much the same to me. An "M", and then something that i guess you could call a "G". I'm also a big baseball fan, and i have quite a few player autographs over the years. My opinion is that Matt has a pretty mediocre signature (though i've easily seen many worse), but i can't blame him because given the # of things he's signed over the years he's obviously developed a technique so he can sign his name as many times in as short a time as possible. In short: don't take it personal. I'm also totally PO'd i haven't been able to pre-order the fricken' CD from Maple all day. When you say you're going to put something on sale on a certain day, it had better well be there (or at least more than a few hundred copies or whatever). It's bad business. I don't blame Matt at all, i blame the stupid music executives. I don't even want a signed copy. Online ticket companies like ticketmaster do it right. They tell you the exact minute tickets will be on sale, and then at that time they virtually always have the tickets up on time.

Same here. Its between the Liberals, who finished 2nd in my riding last election, or the NDP, who finished 3rd and probably don't have a prayer in my strong Conservative riding.

I agree the Electoral College system is a piece of garbage. I couldn't even imagine how frustrating it would be to be a liberal living in a red-state or a conservative living in a blue state. So many votes seemed almost worthless in a sense. Hell, i even get pissed with the Canadian system of voting in small districts because i happen to live in a very strong Conservative district. The U.S., IMO, should simply vote by popular vote. Its easy, its fair, everyone gets equal say. I remember that the Electoral College was also created in part because of the strong federalism beliefs when the U.S. Constitution was written. Not many years before the constitution was written, American was a group of 13 seperate colonies that had significant indepedence from each other, with each colony having many squabbles with each other etc. When writing the Constitution they wanted a balance of power of the state (federalism) & power of the population. There is still a strong sense of federalism in the U.S., but nothing like it was. I don't see much of a need anymore for the Electoral College since different states don't distrust each other like they used to. What could be the cons of popular vote system?

i love both versions. As for Black Helicopter, i can't listen to the album version compared to the demo & live versions. I loved the demo version of that song & couldn't stop listening to it, i just cant stomach the cd version. Its just not as raw & the "I want" section is SO annoying.

I saw The Clone Wars in theatres like a month ago...by myself. Pretty good if you go into it knowing its basically a feature-length TV cartoon & not a real Star War flick. i rate it 8/10.

I rarely buy DVD's anymore (thank you torrents). My last one was "He-Man and the Master of the Universe", the 2002 series update of the cartoon. Great cartoon series, excellent animation & pays very close homage to the original cartoon/toys.

Mellon Collie was insanely good. 1979 is one of my all-time fav songs, and "Tonight, Tonight", "Bullet with Butterfly Wings", and Thirty-Three etc. are just classics. Man, that was the era of music when music-videos were at their peak. Now its all MTV Cribs & So You Think You Can Dance. I like a few songs off Siamese Dream, like Today & Disarm, but i dont get the overall amazement with the album.
