  1. It has been almost 20 years. They probably forget half the things they even fought over, and I'm sure minds change over time.
  2. The console gaming industry is virtually dead. It's sad. Games on phones now I guess.
  3. Tricky thing is that apologizing and admitting guilt could make him more vulnerable to potential harassment lawsuits or whatnot from whomever. But not really addressing/owning anything means there will always be an elephant in the room. He's in a tough spot. I also hope he seeks help for his own sake at least.
  4. Re-reading what I wrote, it didn't come off in tone as I meant it, apologies to Sharon. I made a small correction. That is a VERY nice thing for her to do. I'm not criticizing her for doing it at all, i'm just saying he doesn't owe her $2000. But I get her point of it, in that a fan did something very nice for him, which I think a fair # of fans do for him, and yet he treats many of his female fans terribly. We are complex creatures. There's lots of normally nice guys who lie and cheat on their wives. Many men will do some wild things, including destroy their own families and careers, just to bust a nut, and we've seen that a lot in the last 5 years.
  5. Did he ask you to do this for him? If you did it on your own accord with all due respect he doesn't owe you the money. I agree with the last few sentences. edited for tact.
  6. 50% of the general public are morons. 25% are absolute irredeemable trash. Don't take it personally.
  7. Saying this behaviour is due to psychosis is excusing the behaviour. It's saying he's not responsible for it and blaming it on an illness. It's nonsense. I'm sure his life hasn't been easy due to mental illness, but i've also never seen the guy punch Stu in the mouth for missing a chord., or rage-quit a show like Axl Rose (another bipolarity sufferer), or suddenly jump in the crowd and hump a fan. He may have also been in states of psychosis before, but in 20+ years I've never witnessed the man lose control other than maybe a terse comment, which could be a result of a mood disorder and be excusable. But it's a much different thing to continually use your fame to target attractive female fans on your follower list on social media and make elaborate arrangements to cheat on your wife/gf and perpetually make lies about it in order to get your rocks off. All of this behaviour is done behind a veil because it's meant to deceive in order not to be caught, because he knows what he's doing. If your balls are blue the proper thing to do, which most horny guys do, is to look up some porn and yank one off. And I agree nobody should hate the man, there are good and evil deeds not good and evil people.
  8. From everything I've read it sounds like Matt has some psychological issues that go beyond his bipolar disorder, rooted in a narcissistic victim complex. Sometimes people are victims to things outside their control, but that's different than having a victim complex, where a person blames all of their own failures on factors beyond their control, which is convenient way to avoid taking personal responsibility for anything. I'm sure MG is probably still blaming all of this on his bipolarity to protect the ego from having to admit fault. Add all of the manipulation, lying, and cheating, and he has issues that have nothing to do with his mental illness and everything having to do with needing to grow the hell up and take responsibility for his actions like an adult is supposed to do. I hope he seeks therapy for this and gets his life on order.
  9. If MG got penis enlargement surgery and kept posting IG pics of himself in tight underwear i'd be saying the exact same thing. This isn't about men vs women so stop turning it into that. My point is that they all seem like self-serving narcissists and make me gag, including MG. And that doesn't mean what Hayley is saying isn't true and that she wasn't emotionally abused and lied to and cheated on. Nobody deserves that. I feel bad for all the alleged victims who have shared their stories.
  10. When you were a kid did your mom get breast implants and flash her cleavage for the world to see? They can do whatever they want, i'm saying these don't seem like the most grounded people in the world. Momma didn't raise no fool. And I'm not defending MG, bird's of a feather...
  11. It's a bit weird that she was in the video and that they also collaborated on the latest as-of-yet unreleased album he just recorded. Is that from his insistence? Is it an organic occurrence? Or is she trying to make a career for herself too and using him as a vehicle? Her IG page says she's a "model" and "beatmaker". I've always found it odd that with both her and his ex-wife they have both IG pages of themselves flaunting their large breasts in provocative poses for all his fans to view and follow. And Jen we all know was an opportunistic character. And now we learn that allegedly Matt is an opportunistic character himself. So either Matt is really bad at picking women, or all 4 of them are a similar sickening bunch and deserve each other. And i'm leaning towards the latter.
  12. She's said that she wants this exposed so he's held accountable and so that other fans knows what's happening so that this cycle doesn't continue. That said, they also just broke up, so it would be naive to think there isn't some emotions of post-breakup revenge going on here. But they didn't break up amicably, Hayley said he cheated on her and lied about it, and was emotionally abusive/manipulative, and I guess when she started talking about it other women came forward with their stories, so here we are. If it was just Hayley then i'd be much more skeptical, but there's just been a lot of corroborating stories that points to a pattern. I'll still listen to the music, but some of the music loses meaning for me because of some of the hypocrisy in the lyrics given the allegations.
  13. These are serious allegations, and need to be taken seriously. It will take a while to digest all of this. There are always 2 sides, and always different narratives about the same events. I will save final judgement until I hear Matt's side of the story. Following his career and his personal ups and downs for over 2 decades, I at least owe the man that. I have already seen a woman's account be repeated by her ex-bf on this forum, and the accounts are different. She conveniently omitted some details that of course make her out to look better and look Matt out to look worse than what her ex had to say, and her ex was on her side btw. Which is why we need to wait and hear Matt's side. I'm also, quite frankly, tired of seeing Matt's breakups become such public spectacle and each side using the media as a revenge weapon. I was never comfortable with Matt's blogging and Hospital Music being used to crap all over his ex when she didn't have the same platform to tell her side. Then his ex-wife and him used IG to snipe at each other publicly. Now this. And of course there was the MBG breakup, where i've never heard Dave's side of the story, if i even care about any of this drama. Though given it looks like wrong-doing has been done, I'm glad the women are able to hold people accountable, and prevent it from happening in the future. The reality is that this type of thing is common among male celebrities/musicians unfortunately. The notion that the band and crew were unaware of these things is ridiculous. In fact, in other bands it's the crew that gather attractive girls during the show to have ready for the musicians in the dressing room/bus after the gigs, sometimes requesting sexual favors for themselves in exchange for access. A pretty shady/disgusting industry on many fronts.
  14. Companies do not want to be associated with people accused of sexual harassment, whether they are true or not true. I'm not saying these allegations aren't true, i'm saying what Warner and Breen do is not evidence of guilt. Maybe it's because they've seen other evidence, maybe it's because they want to save their own butts. As I said, I'm not going to make any assumptions.
  15. Or maybe it's nothing but a PR move from them. We don't know. We don't even know when they stopped representing him. I'm going to avoid making assumptions.
  16. Great covers wow. Listen with headphones Black Helicopters wow.
  17. Bones Hillman just died from cancer. Rich Priske also died this year, plus Geoff Lloyd. That's 3 Matthew Good bassists now dead. Plus Matt just lost his mom, and his dad died earlier in the year. What a terrible year.
  18. Imagine being in a band and being told how to play and what instrument to play and not getting proper writing credit. No wonder he left the band.
  19. Wish he could sell copies of the streams afterwards.
  20. I saw a bunch of people who bought tickets couldn't get into the Zoom feed. I assume those are them.
  21. Says 822 participants. Basically zero overhead, glad he gets some good profit fro the show. $20 x 822 = $16,440. Killer coin for a few hours work lol.
  22. This is terrible news. RIP Rich. It's been a rough ride for so many rock musicians who came up in the 90's from the west coast of North America. I don't understand it.
  23. Wow, thank you so much for making this and posting it here John! This is legendary. I've never heard of a lot of this info. Minority opinion but LOTGA is my favorite MGB album.
  24. I really like the new "Back of the Tiger" on his site. Victory is Free sounds like the Sheepdogs:
