  1. Sure is the dream for something you paid for nearing a year ago to actually arrive isn't it.... sigh.
  2. man the amount of those discogs entries i added haha I'm not to sure some of those exist, but if they do, they are extremely limited. Only single i know for sure that exists that i am trying to find is Oh Be Joyful.
  3. Might as well throw in some more upcoming shows I got coming! Last night, Nov 1 - MGxIME - Was so good! Nov 22 - Ten Second Epic/Calling All Captains - local bands, Ten Second Epic's reunion show 2nd night Nov 29 - Papa Roach/The Used Dec 1 - MGK Jan 30, 2026 - The Offspring/Bad Religion April 19, 2026 - Wheatus - i can't believe getting to see them again after a 24 year wait to just seem them once September 17, 2026 - Foo Fighters/Queens Of The Stone Age - i don't think i've ever had tickets this far in advance before?!
  4. From the Edmonton show
  5. I really like the MGxIME tour shirt. It is so soft. I got the poster too, but they ran out of signed copies.
  6. I'm not huge into the stuff like pop artists featuring rap artists type songs because usually it is a rap artist i just cant get into, or it's just so jarringly different from the main setup of the pop song that it "ruins" it (for me). So with that i was not sure how i'd be feeling towards the song with rapping, and i'm not at all familiar with Saukrates. But it wasn't polar opposite sounds so it wasn't an immediate nope for me, still will need to give some listens, but it also has me leaning towards checking out Saukrates. Also since Too Much Emotion is Dan Mangan vocals it was nice that Matt still had some vocals on Triage.
  7. On most recent facebook post it says "Every week or so, we'll be changing up the song featured on the site, to get you primed for the new album. It's coming...the wheels are turning!" Wonder what changed from tour talk of album releasing on his birthday, to just a single and song at a time up to the album release.
  8. New site is live with Daylight Actual featuring Matt Mays on the media player https://www.matthewgood.org/ Also a new official instagram is linked https://www.instagram.com/officialmattgood
  9. has anyone actually gotten the cassette yet or know what the actual contents are? at the Edmonton VIP the organizer (and i use that term lightly...) guy said it was "A greatest hits of sorts" and then immediately changed the subject
  10. Hope you enjoyed Limblifter! i keep bugging Ryan to come to Edmonton again, but promoters are jerks because the last time they came through was a terrible snow storm and didn't have the attendance the promoter wanted it to be. I do have local band Scenic Route To Alaska next on Friday, May 10 Wheatus on May 12, super excited for this one! Taking Back Sunday on June 8 Evanescence/Halestorm/The Warning Oct 20 Throw in some comedy nights too with Jim Jefferies/Jimmy Carr on Sept 8 Pauly Shore Nov 16.
  11. VIP was very disorganized. Band stuff was perfect. rest... not really that great. Excuse was emphasized as being first show of the tour. Facebook post said to show up 3:45pm, email said 3:30. Finally got in around 4-ish? VIP cassette was held up by customs at border. VIP poster hadn't arrived yet (did sometime after regular doors, so got it after the show). Lanyards for the laminate were not there. Photo was group, and mentioned being start of tour, can't get anyone sick type thing. I get Matt's health and all, but that is a known factor and should never have been worded as implied individual. Was only 10 of us for VIP, but picture being group shot taken on a phone. Then we got to go look at the merch. (which wasn't even fully set up yet) Because cassette wasnt there yet, we got to get a free t-shirt (our choice of), and cassette would be mailed to us later. I hope the lanyard too since that wasnt there for us. The tour t-shirt wasn't even there yet when we got our early merch viewing, so i waiting for early entry time to see it and make my pick of a shirt. The VIP poster is not as nice as the purchasable signed $50 poster. (i'll post picture later, i tried to edit my merch post and it doesnt seem to like to edit). VIP one is the smaller and just the promo images they are using for this tour as seen in the start of this thread. Other one is same theme but in my opinion much nicer. I just didn't have $50 more to spend. Since the group was small, Matt signed multiple things and checked if anyone had anything else. I technically got 5 things signed haha I got my Rodchester Kings cassette signed, and I had said i wasn't sure if it was that to be signed or my Black Market Surgey books and he said lets see them, and then happily signed all of them. Doors were to be 7, and us VIP were to get early entry. The venue added starting that night their own premium entry tickets that had others early entry with us through a different door. That was it's own gong show, but that happens every show i go to at this venue, they just now spread out their gong show. I think we finally started to get early entry at 7:30 or so. Show then started late, and in between Vilivant and Matthew Good seemed to be some issue with changeover that took a bit, so Matt finally got to stage at 9:30. As for the show itself. I personally really enjoyed it, and sure there was some flubs here and there, but that is how playing live works (and makes it fun), and Matt not playing guitar is a bit of a learning curve/change for him. During Weapon he did start wrong, and was corrected and restarted. It was near the end of the night, i'm sure any meds for his nerve issues mixed with having a good time/drinking was starting to hit more. I assume Alert Status Red was a cut for time and not the speculation everyone is doing on reddit, and my (now private) Weapon video on youtube, because i'm pretty sure there is a 11pm noise curfew because shows never go past 11 there. My highlight of the night was Symbolistic White Walls full band! And getting to hear Daylight twice with the news that that album (ep?) comes out on Matt's birthday. Although that is a Saturday this year, so maybe the day before?
