Thanks - woulda been nice to have a lossless copy of it, whatever it was (assuming it wasn't released subsequently).

Well, this topic is blowing up https://www.reddit.com/r/Mattgood/comments/1pnc93u/zero_hours_vinyl_shitshow/ I refused the "free merch pick, but excluding the hoody" the team offered at the 2024 VIP, thinking that it would justify demanding the "Exclusive Tracks" cassette they promised us, later on... it's kinda funny that no one knows what would have been on it. At this point I'm just hoping that the vinyl actually gets shipped out, with a download code that isn't compressed/MP3... so I don't have to digitize it to get the +2 tracks lossless (love TME, dislike P + wish we could somehow get a lossless version of the original version of Triage and other demos like Victory is Free & Back of the Tiger).

Hi, hope everyone's doing well. Apologize if it was discussed earlier -- just wondering about the Vinyl release: 1. Is the tracklisting the same for the Patreon Excusive + regular version? Hopefully the only difference is that the Patreon exclusive ones are signed (and might ship with some extras)? 2. Any clue what the tracklisting is? I suppose it'll have the 5 from the EP, with Pandemic + Too Much Emotion? Unfortunately couldn't subscribe but I saw some update message about the vinyl on Patreon, seems y'all should be receiving them soon! Eager to hear all about it. Best!

New MG song under the moniker 'Royal City Archers'
invasion1 replied to PsychoLamb's topic in Matthew Good
Yeah, realized that later on - thanks foats! kinda slow + late to the game as usual. edit: took what daniel_v figured out with minor edits and put it here. That version of the song really grew on me (with the original verses). It's kinda too bad we won't get it lossless. -
New MG song under the moniker 'Royal City Archers'

Thanks a lot for typing those up, @daniel_v - cleared up several lines for me. For the chorus part, uncertain but I heard it as what's below (before finding this post): "what do you say becomes of us after the weight of our life is gone? what do i say becomes of us after the weight of our lives is gone?" edit: would love to get a better quality copy of the song, if that's possible (pls PM me). have only found it in VBR (mp3 195kpbs + mp4 271 kbps). -
Dunno if this is all of 'em, but this is the expanded playlist I've been using. Subjectively, I find the original or demo version of Triage much better than the official release + had forgotten how much Daylight Actual had changed VS the original instrumental demo (though I wish there was a version without Matt Mays / that had MG doing the chorus, as I really admire the lyrics in the final version). Also: I was wrong about Montreal being the only city to get Smoke live in the 2025 tour, apparently it happened in Vancouver on Oct 24th too. Hope y'all are doing well. edit: 2025 tour stuff i captured (mentioned in another thread), is here.

Enjoyed the show a lot - Montreal was lucky to get MEGGO doing Smoke, too. Don't think any other city will get that one / I hadn't realized she was from here. I'm pretty terrible at filming or capturing, though I figured those of you who couldn't make it out to a show might wanna see / hear some. I added stuff to this folder for y'all (sorry for needing to zoom in so much from the balcony spot + for the "shaking" in the videos - forgot that the bass/kick drum vibrates the table). Got "Smoke" + "Omissions of the Omen" complete video, alongside the "internal-mic" phone recording

My 2cents: the "solo songs" we had already heard are great, Lost and Found Kids is my favorite. Smoke grew on me, but I'm still not into Triage. For those of you into lyrics: saw that someone, probably from here, added three of the songs to AZLyrics. Used those as a base and tried to transcribe the others (got stumped a couple of times but playing at 0.5x and checking out a live version makes me think they are "pretty close")... and put them on Genius. Please correct anything I got wrong I'm happy that the associated tour stop is tomorrow and hope that "Daylight Actual" won't be the only song from the EP to appear in a setlist!
-
Thanks for those! Bit disappointing that it looks like the sets are shorter/have less songs than the last tour... kinda surprised he isn't playing more songs from the EP, like Lost + Found Kids and A Corridor of Trees (saw Daylight Actual on some nights). Anyhow, I'm looking forward to seeing the show next week, just wish there was more variety.

Wow, that stuff looks cool -- thanks for mentioning Sharon!
-
Ooh, it was very cool to see west coast dates and some in the US for the newly-announced Fall tour (Sept-Oct). Hopefully more shows will be added soon!

Seems the easiest way to tell if your copy is OK or not is to play the last track on Disc 1 (lots of clicks/spikes in both copies here):
-
idk, I have the feeling that a lot of us have flawed copies of this wonderful thing? Noticed there were some clicks/noise in a few of the songs (M4A copy I stumbled across eons ago) that are not present in the YouTube version. Managed to get another copy from a friend recently, but that one also has clicks/noise + a copying error that causes ~12s of audio to be missing from "2-09 Umbrellaless". I'll try to consolidate the two copies I have and clean up the clicks with Cool Edit Pro, but I hope someone has a "correct" copy without any of these issues.
-
Awesome to know more now, thanks a lot!

Any time, just happy to be able to help! I added some that were shared recently (very grateful to have more from the tour): - the latest from Sharon (May 6th) - one from Chris Bold & Dennis Orr (May 3rd) Yeah, thanks for mentioning. I'm glad they cleared that up + hopefully the cassette will be something other than a "still very cool to have" preview of the album tracks that we'll hear in late June.
