i don't mind her, i find her lyrics incredibly simple but i do like her voice and i think she's really pretty. she does have a few songs that i think why avril, why can't all your songs be like this? and then there are some that just make me hang my head. it makes me realy mad though that people always bash her, i think she's done really well for herself -

ya i guess it sounds a little girlie, but she is a female singer and does have a pretty high voice. the lyrics aren't girlie though. one of my fav lines is "let's drink to the military/the glass is empty" -

wow 2 and half hours eh? that's awesome, not many bands do that anymore...kinda like the days of zepplin when they's play for like 3 hours. crusader did you go listen to metric? they are actually better live because their recorded stuff is a little more techno-ish and live they are more rock. -

one of my fav lines from an apc song is from 'the noose' "i'm more than just a little curious how your planning to go about making your amends to the dead" and also "your halo's slipping down...to choke you now" i also think that '3 libras' is one of the most perfectly constructed songs ever written (not including MG's songs) -

My recent concert experiences were both excellent, but quite different. The first night I was so excited I almost passed out and the whole night is almost a blur (no I wasn't drunk). Especially when I met Matt afterwards, I was totally in shock. Then second night was alot more relaxed and it was hilarious cause during the opening act Matt came out and was drinking champagne with the band, then Christian came out wearing shorts with his socks up to his knees and was doing yoga poses. Then, the funniest part, Pat came out dressed as superman, only wearing little briefs and had stuffed them with something. I laughed so hard! And Matt and all the other members where up in the mezzanine laughing and taking pictures. Plus me and my sister got the whole thing on video with her digital camera. Ah, good times.

Wil is amazing live, but my brothers fiance bought the CD and its just not the same. still good, but not great because the best part about him live is that he goes crazy! He also has a really cool voice.

I definatley agree, he is up there right behind MG as a musical genius...I personally prefer A Perfect Circle to Tool, but Tool rocks too. -
Any Metric fans in here? I've seen them live twice and they are awesome!

I am so jealous that you got to hear blue skies over bad lands live. I went to two of the edmonton shows and got to hear every song off the new cd except that one..which is my favorite. oh well, it was still absolutley amazing!

Hey Jeffrey, I'm new too...well I joined awhile ago but haven't posted yet...this whole posting thing is a new process to me too which is why I don't really know what I'm doing yet. Awesome that he signed your guitar. I went to two shows on the 24th and 25th and Matt signed a set list for me and during the concert Christian came over during the near fantastica guitar solo and let me pluck the strings on his guitar! Best night ever!
