The other box of entertainment...

Its my job to be on a computer so I am on it from 8:30-5, mondays to fridays but I rarely ever go on it in the evenings or on weekends. -
This is sort of along the same line, but not as cool. I know a guy named Michael Moore - he has nothing in common with Michael Moore the director, just the name.

Ah family guy, so hilarious. That show alone has so many lines that crack me right up. Chris: Dad, what's the blow-hole for? Peter: Well I'll tell you what it's not for. And when I do, you'll understand why I can never go back to Sea World.

The MG concerts I just went to were in a bar, but other then a few people yelling out unintelligent things everyone was really well behaved. No pushing or jumping around. Mostly everyone that I saw was just there to enjoy the show. Even if there was some sort of incident in the crowd the security was really tight and there was a barricade a few feet from the stage so Matt was completley safe.

Catwomen looks ridiculous, i can't understand how Halle Berry can go from winning and oscar to that.

Home made music.

That is pretty cool and it is kind of video game-ish. My sister and I are muscians too and we have a few songs we want to record but we need to buy ALOT of stuff before we can such: a good microphone, recording software and I need a new guitar. There is also a chance that we will need a new computer first because ours is very old and probably won't be compatible with any of the new programs. Sigh...maybe one day. -
I agree with what everyone is saying about the 'a world called catastrophe video', but just because a video is political doesn't mean that that is what the song was written about. I had always thought that the song was a politically influenced song but it very well could be about the band breaking up. Or both. I think that since Matt is a very politically conscious person it influences his writing, and his songs often end up being not just about the state of the world, but also about his own life and how he views the world.

hmmm, its interesting that people thought that the rest of the band was boring. I would say for the two concerts I went to they were the opposite. I have explained before somewhere else on here but I don't remember where so I'll do a brief recap: Christian let my sister hold his guitar in the middle of 'near fantastica' and let me pluck the strings during his guitar solo and also - mind you this was before their show - but every member came out individually during the opening act and did something funny. For example: drank champagne, dressed up like superman, did yoga etc. And this was at one of the very last stops on their tour. Weird, how it varies from city to city hey?

I can't even go to the spca, i went once with my parents and i started crying because all the dogs look at you with the saddest and most hopefull eyes and you just want to take every single one of them home!

Ah yes it did do it automatically...very sneaky

Matt's new dog is a Pomeranian–Dachshund cross. Go to his blog and read about: http://www.matthewgood.org/blog/archive/20...23_archive.html (how do I make this into a link?)

I totally agree with eveyone saying that you can express your opinions here and not get flamed for it. The only other time I tried to post on another board the people there were so mean to me I only posted twice and then I never went back. But everyone here is so nice and interesting!

Ya a pipe broke and the water was just pouring into the mall, but although there was alot of damage (almost a million dollars worth!) I don't think there was enough water to hurt anyone or any animals.
-
Him and his wife bought the dog at West Edmonton Mall when they were hear on tour...he mentioned it in his blog a few weeks back.

I don't know actually. The poster outside the movie said 'this film is not yet rated'. Whether it was R or not wouldn't have made a difference for me since I'm 21, but it would suck for underagers. This is a movie that everyone needs to see and its ridiculous to keep young people out. Believe me, nothing in the movie is any worse then what you see on the news.
-
Well, I haven't really heard much about how it is effecting the general public. In MG's blog he wrote about how this movie may be the first movie to actually have a considerable impact on a presidential election. All I have to say to everyone is to go see it! I went last night and it is a shocking eye opener. Michael Moore did an amazing job of backing up everything he had to say, so agree with him or not, you have to admire that.

Wow it sounds really cool, thanks for the recommendation. I will have to check it out.

okay but you have to remember I am very computer illiterate so how do I get there, and once I'm there what do I do? I'm confused!

How does this hub thing work anyway?

Amen to that. Its sad to think that there are probably alot of people out there who are too afraid to take a chance and do what they love so they end up missing out. Even if I don't like a bands music I will never cut them down, because at least they doing what they love and you gotta give props for that. (this doesn't include musicans who aren't really musicians and only a product of someone's elses imaginations) -
How did you even here about them in the first place though?
-
Ya we are being off topic, but I completley, 100% agree with you juanpe. Okay I'm done...now!

Man o man. How does he come up with this stuff. I just read the three songs on the lyrics page. So who has these songs and where did they find them?
