cant... let... topic.... die....anyone have any deerhunter? anything the liars did before their last two records? -
audioslave played soundgarden and RATM songs... no one felt cheated by that. they can play whatever they want. frankly, they can be called whatever they want, too... but like the new doors or whatever they're called, with a new singer, it just seems like they'd be stuck being a cover band of their own songs. i think at least a name change would symbolize a new chapter. a new direction. where they weren't using their old catalog as a crutch. they could still play the old stuff, but head in a new direction at the same time.

oh, well... if wikipedia says so... i know he looks like jim morrison. i get it. you didn't need to post pictures. he's more jim morrison than i'll ever be. but if you say something is "oneband meets anotherband" then you're saying that not only does the band sound like those aforementioned acts, but is also of the same quality. the tea party ≠ nine inch nails or the doors. they might try to sound like them, but do they ultimately succeed??? i think not. put that in your camera phone and smoke it. -
