Bladerunner: The Final Cut

No. The Dear Hunter is slow and boring. Apocalypse Now Redux is slow and boring. And those are both fantastic. Blade Runner is dark, broody perhaps. I was in HMV the other day waiting for a pizza, and I guy from school went into their back room and showed me the big suitcase super duper edition. As much as I wanted the contents, I thought it was pretty ludicrous, but when I saw it I creamed just enough. -

Why do they always resurrect the most obscure threads for the shittiest reason. That's not even an opinion worth posting about. -
Lately, Kravitz has founded a design firm named Kravitz Design, stating if he hadn't been a musician he would have been a designer. Kravitz Design, focused on interior and furniture design, has designed residential spaces, as well as a chandelier for the crystal company Swarovski, named "Casino Royale."[11] On July 7, 2007, Kravitz performed at the Brazilian leg of Live Earth in Rio de Janeiro.[2] That gave him the distinction of being the only major international rockstar to perform two huge free concerts at the world-famous Copacabana Beach. Kravitz had already played there on March 21, 2005, drawing 300,000 people on a concert of his own. The Live Earth concert, with eight other acts on the bill, including Pharrell Williams and Macy Gray, took 400,000 to the beach. Also in 2007, Kravitz released a version of "Cold Turkey" by John Lennon on Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur, a charity CD. Kravitz has also been spending time recording his forthcoming album, It Is Time for a Love Revolution, to be released February 5, 2008.[12] Another album, Funk, will also be released in 2008. This is believed to be a project that Kravitz has been working on since 1997. Some of the original tracks for Funk were recorded while he was in New Orleans at Allen Toussaint's studio while taking a break for several months from recording in New York City. On September 25, 2007, the Fats Domino tribute album "Goin' Home ; A Tribute To Fats Domino" was released. Kravitz was on the song "Whole Lotta Lovin'" along with Rebirth Brass Band, Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews, Fred Wesley, Pee Wee Ellis and Maceo Parker. [13] Kravitz performed at the Grey Cup halftime show in Toronto on November 25, 2007, where the Saskatchewan Roughriders beat the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 23-19.[14] The video for "I'll Be Waiting" was shot in Central Park in New York City and will be released in the next month. I'm the king of the excessive posts lately. I always thought that he should have released an album called The Apprenticeship of Lenny Kravitz. Mike: Remember that toy movie we made, and we wanted it to end with Daredevil driving recklessly while listening to "Are you gonna go my way?" Fucking genius.

This should tell you everything you need to know. Theres another even more detailed series of pages about it at that site somewhere, but I couldn't find it again. It breaks down every different version of the film. I love that the big version comes with the little hover car and the oragami unicorn. Ridley Scott's Deckard is a replicant. Philip K. Dick's is not. I hope I can write another essay about this before I finish school. This and THX-1138 I've written about every semester in the last year and a half.
