DVD single news: "Some more details have been revealed for Tool's upcoming DVD for the video of their track "Vicarious". Slated to arrive in stores on December 18th, the DVD will feature the video for the title track along with a documentary, that according to the press release, "takes you through the history of Adam Jones' visual effects work, and the process and people involved in the creation of the groundbreaking all CGI video 'Vicarious.'" An audio commentary of the video by comedian David Cross, a tour of Alex Grey's CoSM and more will also be featured." vikkid. sounds way better than the previous DVD singles, although a vicarious remix would be neat.

nonononono i didn't say "why are you voting for a republican," i said "how is he a republican" based on what you've written here. he seems like he's just trying to appeal to what people want. i watched a video on him where he was speaking at google, and he was very clear that he still would have gone to afghanistan after 9/11 because he believes that the people who were responsible for it were residing there. what a crock, saying he doesn't support the invasion of other countries. he's just saying he'll do it constitutionally. he didn't sign papers to invade afghanistan, but he did sign them to go after al-quaida. that's the same thing, really. and the whole against tax funded abortions thing bothers me to no end.

no, fox does not own at&t. at&t is owned by the southwestern bell corporation, a telecommunications conglomerate. just google it, rather than guessing. if you support free speech, then "stringing" them up "texas-style" is not a good way to go about it. the great thing, and sometimes aggravating thing about free speech is that everyone, even the zealots, are entitled to having a voice.

yeah, you might be right about batman being a rich bitch, but consider this: superman can fly around the globe at will. he has the strength to fight an entire army, and yet he does nothing to promote world peace. however, crossed with a burglar stealing a loaf of bread, or a man with male-pattern-baldness with a lust for power, suddenly, superman's a hero. i don't get it. why wouldn't he mediate between warring countries? feed the hungry? nurture and care for the sick, as he is, like you said, immune to everything, save for a glowing green rock. batman works because his efforts are localized, and he has a motive. superman, aside from his powers themselves, has no motive. had his powers not developed in his adolescence, he would have done nothing. i've always found him a bit weird because he essentially does the same thing as batman, and yet, his powers are far superior. oftentimes, he'll fight the same villans batman does or tackle similar, if not identical, problems. so what that tells me, is that either superman is not doing things to his full potential, or that batman is able to fight crime at the level of a super-human alien dude with "natural" endowments that make him literally unstoppable. or both. sure, kryptonite is a weakness, but we all know it's purpose as a storytelling device. the stuff might put supes through a lot of pain, but he's still kicking. not a real weakness IMO. plus, who's died more often? only pussies die. real men get paralyzed and then ass kick their way back to health (that's in no way a shot at christopher reeve, lol) /nerd rant
