hahaha i nearly choked on my coffee when i read that. let's start a petition to get danny glover cast as warf, or at the very least, some kind of klingon. it would be hilarious seeing him yell like warf has been known to do. picturing that with "operation dumbo drop" in mind might just kill me.

i dont think it would've fit with how the rest of the album feels. it's a cool song, and shares a very significant guitar part that anchors the album, but i'm glad it wasn't included.

amputechture got better towards the end of the record... i just think its really boring at the beginning. to me, frances is relentless... the pacing of it is really good; they don't meander too much. the songs have an immediacy to them that the majority of amputechture does not.

yeah im interested to see how this one sounds. hopefully it doesnt blow like the majority of amputechture.

no need to get so defencive. i was just wondering, because you make it sound as though theres some huge disconnect between you and the "youths," which you blame almost entirely on age... not because maybe you're just more sensible, or more mature. i'm assuming that you never did this sort of thing when you were young, so obviously it's not something that one does when they're young, or because of, as you put it, theire "youthful wisdom." sure, younger people are doing these things, but i wouldn't be so bold to say that they're doing it because they're 6 or 7 years younger than you. had this been a case of people huffing gas, which is a major problem in the northern parts of canada, you wouldn't have blamed it on age... ... what i'm saying is, you sounded condescending.
