The buildings are old (with the exception of the new dorm building they've put up), the neighbourhood is a) boring and b) filled with sketchy characters from aforementioned high school, and THERE IS SHIT ALL TO DO. Within walking distance, there is ONE bar, ONE midrange overpriced Italian restaurant, ONE overpriced greasy spoon fast food place, and a church. (edit: and a few miscellaneous stores that don't do much for anyone)

I hate to break the chain, but no, it isn't. I grew up a 20 minute walk from the campus and I went to high school within throwing distance for two years, and I've been on the campus several times for various functions. The only thing UTSC has going for it are the tennis courts and soccer fields in the river valley. Whoever is telling you this is blowing smoke up your ass. Therefore; Owen is gullible!

It never really escapes me that while the majority of people I knew through high school never actually thought I would be bound for hell, the religion they held onto so tightly unequivocally says that I am. Perhaps I should start calling people on this.

No. I honestly don't really consider myself a "resident" of where I live right now so it would be irresponsible of me to vote, and had I been able to vote in the recent byelection (I was shy of 18 by a few weeks) I would have refused to on that principle.
