I think I would be disappointed if I didn't hear Last Parade and Giant. That looks like a pretty good setlist.

Luckily the NYC show I went to was one of the last few that he didn't end up cancelling. He sounded pretty good that night too...unfortunately the venue was having technical issues with the sound. But the vocals were fine. example:

Well, at least he hasn't gotten sick on the US tour this time. Knock on wood.

So the US Tour started last night didn't it? Seattle? We need some setlists ;)

MG should hire Jimmy Chamberlin.

It did not work...

Yeah I don't think it's worth it for anybody out of Canada...unless you really go out of your way to try and attend those events...and that's gonna cost more money than just what MG is asking for the membership.

He is the most interactive musician, man...he always puts himself out there for people. So interesting. I don't think M+ is something I'll buy into being down in America, but it is pretty cool. I wonder how long it'll last ;)

I didn't think he'd start demoing for a while, but a new album still has to be at least a year and a half away. -
Prime Time Deliverance Sort of a Protest Song Suburbia While We Were Hunting Rabbits Weapon

If you combined elements of the acoustic and album versions of Prime Time Deliverance I think I would like it even more. The same could be said for Tripoli. I'm gonna have to go with... Prime Time Deliverance Born To Kill

So having paid for the song negates the fact that you're not paying a royalty for playing it in public? Well that's good I guess :b

Mmm, I missed these and I'm kinda glad because I really, really have to try harder to not listen to demos and just wait for the album. It was so much more exciting when I heard the songs on Vancouver that I really didn't know compared to the ones I had listened to a bunch of times...

Mmm, it's bad enough that your loved one has died. Then people expect you to pay out the wazoo to give them a respectful sendoff. It was interesting to read Matt Good's thoughts about Geoff. Happy to see he spoke so highly of him.

Oh no! I just read Matt's blog ;) Thanks for the music, Geoff. So long... r i p

That's pretty cool. I don't think I'll have any Matt Good played at my future wedding...

That's a pretty tough group of battles. 99% Protest Song Rabbits Failing

I agree. I don't see anything wrong with the discussion. I could sit here and talk about how I want Matt Good to play She's Got A New Disguise at least one more time before we're all dead, but it should be acceptable because it's a message board for just that type of thing! Matt Good can be who he wants to be, but I can just as easily say "Dammit Matt, while you're doing that can you throw in some Fearless?!"

I'm kinda surprised he played Vancouver National Anthem only 3 more times than Odette. I'm not really too concerned about the setlist at the show I bought tickets for in April. I have never seen matt good full band so it'll be a treat either way. -
Cool bro. I'll definitely be on line early if I can. I was first on line at the NYC acoustic show in 08 and in 07 in Buffalo I arrived to the parking lot at 1pm ;)

Paying for content? Eh, I don't think I would have interest in anything like that. I don't think getting into sound checks would be particularly interesting.

Official Tour Setlist/review Thread 2009/2010

The Toronto setlists both looked good, but in the end I think I made the right decision to not go...considering that flying out of New York this past weekend would have been a big mistake and I never would have gotten home because of delays and snow and whatnot...haha Although I see now that my original theory that the Toronto shows would be longer has been proven wrong. I just kinda figured he'd always be putting on these big longer shows in Toronto, but I suppose not! Oh well.
