I fucking love LOTGA. It's probably my 3rd most listened to Matt Good album. Maybe 4th.

Still waiting for mine to arrive in the mail. I listened to the bonus track and the single, that's it so far.

Not really. I ordered it on Maple Music as I usually have and I'll be getting it in the mail -- after everyone else will already have gotten it, but whatever.

I can't believe it's already May 5th. April really was like a time warp... Bim you should just hold out and not listen even if he puts up more streams. It'll be way better that way. P.S. It took me a minute to figure out what my new icon to the left was. Oy.

Beat Dead Space 2. It was fun, but not as good as the original I thought. I unlocked hardcore mode by beating it once, which is absolutely ridiculous. It's already harder than it was on the mode I played (survivalist) but this time when you die you only start off at save points, and you are only allowed to save a max of 3 times during your play through. That would actually take some planning and lots of strategy. I will not be doing that any time soon ;)

I'm sure it'll get better in the context of the album. I don't mind the stripped down-ness so much. I'm holding out on Non Populus. I've heard people on here talking about it...but I'm resisting the temptation for when the CD lands in my mailbox.

I think In A Place of Lesser Men is cool although it doesn't really work as a single...and as I read Matt say earlier it probably isn't the best representation for the rest of the songs on the album...I'm sure in the context of the flow of the album it works much better. I guess if I had to comment a little more, I'd say it is perhaps a bit too stripped down...I keep thinking there should be a Billy Corgan-esque "wall of sound" somewhere in there, but I still like the song. As far as the whole brooding thing, well, Matt Good has always been a "dramatic" musician so to speak. I expect nothing less at this point. Hospital Music was fairly depressing, but I played that a lot over the summer a few years ago. I guess I'd be more likely to play happy upbeat stuff in the summer, but new Matt Good stuff will probably get played regardless for me. I mean, ya know, I'm a big fan. S'all good.

I have only heard one song off this album, the single. Regardless it is new Matt Good and I shall be spinning it often. HERPA DERP DERP

There's another version of All Together? I wasn't even aware of that. And I never did get my hands on the acoustic bonus tracks that came with Massey Hall on Itunes. Bah!

I'd essentially be paying $9.99 for one song, since I've already purchased the CD. I just can't legitimize that. This is what I'm saying, I'm hoping there will be another way. There probably won't be, but I'll live.

Well I don't live in Canada either. I guess I just resigned myself to wait through the shipping process, which already cost $22 (standard shipping cost + album cost). I don't want to have to spend like $30 on 9 to 10 songs :\ Gotta pay the rent and all that jazz.

I don't say that! I say Itunes exclusive is nonsense. Just like Amazon exclusive is nonsense. If it's available by itself as a downloadable track that's fine, but if you can only purchase it by buying the mp3 album then that's what I really have a problem with. Reason being I want to physically own the album, have the bonus track download, and not have to pay again. I'll just wait and see how it works out.

I just bought it on Maple Music. You know, I always liked to have the physical album...lately I've been downloading a lot more MP3 albums on Amazon but for Matt Good I'll spend the extra cash to have it shipped.

Still playing through Dead Space 2. Not as good as the first one, but still has made me jump more than a few times.
