I just visited Matt's site for the first time in a while and man, if you don't have M+ it's pretty bare now. I'm not used to that. Even though I didn't really read his political posts, I did just like to see that he was still updating the site everyday. I know he still is, but since I'm not a member of M+ I'm just not seeing it. Just unfortunate that he had to stop the public blog.

He's been recording for what, a month plus now? Time is-a flyin'.

I don't see much there to be honest.

I was singing the lyrics of Silent Army once to myself when I used to work at my old part time job. And this guy that worked there, who was a really, really stupid person said "Dude, bro, did you just say come inside of me?! Dude! Bro!" ;) I told him that was not what I was saying.

I always did love that "TOUGH IT OUT!" part.

I must have listened to this about 50 times since I first heard it last night. I just had to post it somewhere.

Suburbia and or Fine Art of Falling Apart would be in my top 10. Oh and for the record, Casimir Pulaski Day by Sufjan Stevens has shot up my charts this year...

So I guess he hasn't let on about an album title yet, right?

I haven't read Matt's blog for quite some time and i never bought in to M+ so I can't say I'm terribly upset by this. As long as the dude is happy. At least he said he might update Twitter with music info. I'd be happy with that. But I agree, it'll be back some day I bet. And I wonder if the younger Good will take up music someday...

Cool! How long did they record Vancouver? Felt like only a month...

Awesome news. I'm just gonna keep my fingers crossed for another track or two to make it on the final cut.

Well BC is releasing a song at a time, which essentially becomes like 11 EPs. It might be a good idea if he was releasing good songs. Oh well. Matt still has a lot of recording years ahead of him. I can't imagine that he would, in his 30s, declare this next album to be his last full length one. I mean maybe he did, but I guess I have trouble believing it. People change their minds, after all. We'll see.

So he's pulling a Billy Corgan? Interesting.

Has there been any mention of when Matt plans to head back to the studio? I wouldn't be surprised if it was January 2011. He seems to like recording in the winter.

That didn't bother me because I have never seen Rush live before so WHOOOOOOOOOoo

Almost looks like the New York setlist with the exception of ftfi and silent army replaced with x-rated and boy who could explode (and true love thrown in).

I am Catholic. I went to Catholic school for about 14 years. That said, I am not offended by religious jokes and that 2nd video in the original post is hilarious. Religion causes so many problems in this world. For all the good it does, it's also quite corrupt. If people had a better sense of humor about it, there wouldn't be so much drama in the world. The world needs to collectively lighten up.

I've heard that Matt Good was blown away by having such a huge crowd in NYC. ;)
