All of LotGA is pretty underrated in my opinion. I prefer those songs to a lot of other MGB songs quite frankly. *shrug*

I'm very surprised by some of the comments in this thread. Brittany Murphy was a pretty cool actress and she was in a lot of movies that I've enjoyed over the years. I didn't even know she was the voice of Luanne on King of the Hill, but that just makes her even cooler in my opinion. King of the Hill was a very underrated show in my opinion. I wish I had known she was the voice while it was still on the air! My favorite performance of Brittany Murphy is in the movie "Spun" in which she...plays a drug addict. Sad, but true. Anyway loved her in that. rip

I feel like small clubs/bars are the way to go. I think Matt could pull that off no problem most of the time.

I bought Uncharted 2 a couple of weeks ago and still haven't really played it yet. A friend of mine begged me to buy it because he wanted to play online, but I haven't felt myself caring about it that much. I guess I find it hard to get excited about a lot of games these days. I'm an old man at 24.

I personally do not enjoy venues where you can sit for a rock concert. All rock concerts should standing amidst a group of nuts rocking out all night. It should be mandatory. I'm serious! Sitting for a rock concert is just awkward and lame. I'd rather be forced to stand all night, though I wouldn't have to be forced...

Honestly the best show I've ever been to was Matt Good's acoustic show in Buffalo in 2007. It was one of the best nights of my life. Smashing Pumpkins in NY in 2008 was also incredible because they fucking rocked the house down despite people booing. Actually that just made it more enjoyable, I think.

Matt Good has no real typical love songs in my opinion. I'm not sure what to say about them really.

I got my two tickets to the Bowery Ballroom in the mail yesterday. I don't think I've gotten tickets 4 months in advance of a show before. I bought 2 tickets without actually knowing who I would take. I'll find somebody. This will be my first Matt Good full band show. To this point I've only seen acoustic shows in Buffalo in 2007 and New York in 2008. I'm pretty sure the 2008 show I was at was just a bunch of Canadians with New Yorkers strewn about. It wasn't sold out. I hope that there will be more people at this show.

I think this new Alice in Chains CD is on my list of next few albums to obtain. I know the samples I've heard have been very cool.

I got home last night still pretty drunk and then I go on Facebook and see a friend commenting on Matthew Good playing the Bowery Ballroom in New York. So I drunkenly got out my credit card and bought 2 tickets to the show! April is still a long ways off, but I'm definitely excited! I don't care about set lengths or anything. When I saw the acoustic show in NY in 2008 it was significantly shorter than when I saw him in Buffalo in 2007, but that was around the time he was sick and canceling shows. That was more than enough of an excuse, but I just didn't even care that the show was a bit shorter. It was still awesome to see Matt Good in my home town. And considering that I've never seen him full bad this is double exciting! I'm also glad he switched venues. The Highline Ballroom sucked pretty hard as a venue. Bowery Ballroom should be better and I think he played there a long time ago.

I just think that if someone is disappointed about something they spend money on and voices that opinion that they shouldn't be told to shut up (as I've seen people say or allude to in this thread). That said, I live in America and haven't had a chance to go to any of these shows so I really haven't had a part in this epic drama...thankfully. Of course the negative side of that is...I haven't had a chance to go to the shows! Hopefully there are indeed some U.S. dates.
