I'm definitely a fan of this new sound coming out of Bad Guys Win and Decades....doesn't sound like anything he's done before yet still has that unmistakeable MG sound. That's the true measure of creativity.

Same as you - I recorded only short clips from Saskatoon because I prefer watching/experiencing the show. Uploaded them all to my YouTube page but haven't posted links...I suspect people are more interested in full songs. Thx to those who did record and post whole clips! :)

Stu's steel guitar and IEM crapped out at the start of Born to Kill, and Matt said "something's not right" with his guitar after Decades, but other than that everything seemed to go well. But it was a very good show...makes me feel good about skipping Calgary in the future and going back to this venue in Saskatoon again. The Jack Singer Hall in Calgary has great acoustics - the Grey Eagle Casino show lounge (or whatever it's called) not so much. Third time we've seen MG at this Saskatoon venue and by far the best show of them all.

Yeah we had a blast! We may have been right up by the railing ;) Crowd was great this time...seemed to be mainly true fans up front - lots of crowd singing, no pushing/shoving/drunkenness. Stu handed my wife his guitar pick mid-concert and we got the set list sheet too! Band was super-tight and had great energy. Oh and Matt said something to the crowd like "how are you people not made of leather out here?" in reference to the bitter cold outside last night lol. Matt came out and sang in the crowd during Let's Get It On...has he done that in previous shows this tour? (I remember he did it during the CN tour).

Thx for posting the pic....I was just about to ask if anyone got the actual CD yet! Think I'm going to order a disc now too....fought with my slow-as-dirt PC for half an hour late last night to finally get the digital download. Really really like New Wave....that track and Rorschach were my 2 "hidden gems" from the original album for me, so I'm quite pleased with it :)

I couldn't agree more. Love love love MG but this Bravo recording just doesn't do it for me. If I were to introduce somebody new to MG - I wouldn't show them this show - they wouldn't understand what the fuss is all about. Rather - I'd show them any number of fan clips on YouTube.

No kidding - it sounds fantastic. The sound of these new versions make you think they were recorded about 10 years earlier - in 1989 - and the 1999 BM is actually the remix :)

Maybe somebody has already pointed this out but the website link to "I Miss New Wave" preview now takes you to a preview of "Suburbia". Never mind...I've now realized Matt's website originally had the Suburbia preview...I just happened to miss it. I are dumb ;)

Depends on my mood...sometimes it's a Girls In Black/Army of Lions/Harridan kind of day, other times it's Tiger By The Tail/Cold Water/Los Alamos....
