Ok, the Hub doesn't work for me, its never worked for me. I've tried several times over the past year. And i've compliled most of Matt Good's old demo's off P2P sharing (Limewire etc.) and from the NF store over the past year, but there's still a few songs i just can't find. So can anyone help and email some of these songs? Its would be appreciated!! I'll give a bunch of NF$ to those that do. My email address is: [email protected] Songs/demos i need: - Heather's Like Sunday - The Bombmaker (i want this one bad!) - Last of the Ghetto Astronauts - End Song ("15 Hours on a..." album version, not "Broken" album version) - Second Sun - Whispering in the Dark - Coming Out in Purple - Saturday The 12th - Requim for Rosemary - Break in Rhythm - Waiting For The Great Destruction - A Better Pain - Should've Been A Super Villain - Reliance

Star Wars Episode 3 (spoiler Alert!)
Moonlight_Graham replied to Dan #2's topic in The Silver Screen
Lucas isn't doing any more SW movies. He's got a SW live-action tv show in the works taking place between Ep3-4 starring mostly characters not appearing in any of the movies. He's making a real SW cartoon series about the Clone Wars (30 minutes episodes this time). And he said recently there will never ever be a movie (at least one he makes) taking place after Return of the Jedi. -

Smog Kills 800/year In Toronto And Montreal
Moonlight_Graham replied to Bizud's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
these people who die from smog i bet are mostly elderly. Elderly playing basketball. hahahahaha But a anyways, it was 40 degrees celcius in Ottawa today with the humidex, and you could see the smog at ground-level when you looked far across a field. gross. -
Star Wars Episode 3 (spoiler Alert!)
Moonlight_Graham replied to Dan #2's topic in The Silver Screen
bigtime hardcore Star Wars fan. Finally saw Ep3 on friday (promised my sister we'd see it together, she lived in Toronto...the wait almost killed me). Anways, i really liked it. It was much better than TPM or AOTC. I'd give the movie a 9/10. The dialogue, story, and acting was much better. I give huge credit to Lucas for somehow pulling a pretty good script out of his ass and not making me cringe everytime Hayden or Natalie Portman spoke a word. And it was McGregor's best prequel by far as well (again, mostly due to the dialogue). I actually got choked up when Obi-wan was going on to Anakin about how he was like a brother to him. The last fight was awesome, it went beyond my expectations, and seeing the Emperor fight via lightsaber was a big suprise. The end with Vader yelling "NOOOOO!!!" was kinda corny, and i thought there was going to be a another massive Jedi battle (the way most of the Jedi's died was lame). But overall, this movie kicked ass. I left Ep2 with a bigger rush because the ending was so beyond anything in any other SW movie (kick-ass action-wise) and the flick was so much better than Ep1, but Ep3 is certainly the best prequel BY FAR and can actually hold its own with the others from the original Trilogy. Now excuse me while i go scour Wal-mart and Zellers for SW toys and blow $300. -
very true.

Matt and Metallica are my favorite.

Brian Mulroney might be a good reason why only people with political experience should run for leadership. I have no problem with people running for leadership if they have no experience. If they are the best for the job, they'll win. One of the major reasons Belinda lost the Conservative leadership race was her inexperience, so obviously they didn't think she was best for the job. As pathetic as it is, Harper was probably the best choice at the time. Tony Clement is just a dorky guy, nobody would vote for him.

If you are shown to have links to known crime or terrorist groups, or have criminal record, you are bad. If your record seems clean, then you are good. For instance, if you or I had a criminal record we would not be able to even cross the US border for a day of shopping, and vice-versa. And of course you can't catch every bad seed, but i think more needs to done to improve knowledge of what type of people are coming in. And no terrorists aren't necessarily immigrants. They can be anybody. They can be refugees, which is a lot trickier situation. And of course they can also be domestic, but you can't discover them until they break the law.

Minority Governments And The Current Situation
Moonlight_Graham replied to Bizud's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
i like the minority gov't so far. Everyone has a say, everyone is represented. Just look at the budget, the Libs tried much more to please everyone instead of just doing their own thing. Each MP is elected by the people, so if each MP in the non-ruling party has more of a say in what happens in gov't i think thats a good thing for representation & democracy overall. Seems like every gov't in the last 25 years has screwed up bigtime in some way anyways, so it can't be any worse. -
I'm not afraid of a terrorist attack. But i was once. Try living in Ottawa on 9/11 and attending university downtown about 10 minutes from the American Embassy. I have absolutely no problem with immigrants as long as they are decent people. Its not only terrorists, as Canada has also allowed foreign crime lords & organizations into the country (but thats another debate). Just let in the good, keep out the bad.
-
Ok you are right, our immigration system is great. Foreign terrorist groups are no threat to us whasoever, and there is no way to improve our immigration system or intelligence system to stop more from coming in.
-
Bizud, thanks for the Harper article, i'd never actually heard him quoted for supporting 2-tier care, but i'm hardly suprised. I think that some small form of 2-tier care (ie: MRI clinics) would help take some pressure off the health-care system, but thats a whole other debate. There is a big difference in a country thinking Iraq had WMD's and actually supporting the war. I'm quite sure that countries like Germany, France, Canada, and Japan etc. thought that Iraq did indeed possess WMD's, but of course that doesn't mean that they agreed with military invasion. I never said i wanted to limit immigration based on origin. And yeah Canada isn't exactly #1 on the terrorist hitlist, but that doesn't mean i want them in my country. But being a Western capitalist country & an ally of the U.S. doesn't make us immune. They bombed Spain and an Australian Embassy didn't they? But again, the main point is that i don't want terrorists in this country. There are terrorists in our country. I would consider that a problem. Oh and who cares if we let terrorists into the country and smuggle a nuclear weapon inside, detonate it in NYC, and let the nuclear fallout spread over Canada. Or let them come in and hijack a Canadian airplane carrying Canadian citizens and plow it into the White House. Lovely. Then how the fuck do they get into the country? And how the fuck did Al-Qaeda get into the U.S.? Were they all foreign exchange students? NEVER did i once infer ANY race (or origin) into what i've been saying about immigration or terrorism. So fuck off with refering that i'm a racist and all this b.s. I have best friends who are Chinese, Vietnamese, Filipino, and Jamaican. I don't care what color a person is who immigrates to Canada, but if they have ties to terrorist groups then don't let them inside. Yes, that includes white terrorists too! OMG!!! If you don't think terrorism or immigration is a problem in Canada, or that there isn't a link between the 2, then go read what your own gov't (CSIS) has to say about it: http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/national/20...rism000115.html
-
i'd still do her too.
-
Is it racist to not want our country letting Hezbollah terror cells into this country? And do you recall on New Years Eve Y2K when terrorists were caught at the border entering the U.S. in car filled with explosives? And if you want know which border that was, i'll give you a hint: it wasn't Mexico. Same-sex marriage? agreed War in Iraq - hindsight is 20/20. I supported the war based on the fact that most nations believed Saddam did have WMD's. Also, Chretien and our gov't didn't even have a stance on the war until they very end, and then they just said "we'll do whatever the U.N. decides". Well, thats one way not to piss off any of your voters. Missle-defense - agreed 2-tier health-care - show me some evidence where Harper supports this?
-
The NDP are nice people, but there are many problems in this country i see (lax immigration policies, healthcare, lazy people sucking the unemployment system just to name a few) that i believe the NDP either can't fix or won't try to fix. They aren't the perfect party, there's a reason why people don't vote for them. And i'm not saying the Cons are much better (with Harper leading). But IMO both of them are better than 4 more years of shit-sandwiches. Sponsership + Gun Registry + Radwanski + Shawinigate etc. + election costs = $1.5 Billion? Making gov't responsible for its actions = Priceless
