Being a huge fan of the videogames, all i wanted from Doom was to see lots of the monsters from the game like Imps & a Cyberdemon. Didn't get much of that, just a stupid story. And the final battle at the end of the flick was...The Rock vs some marine. WTF???? Gobots were cool, i liked them. I have "Turbo" (red sports car) sitting on my PC right now. Found an old 80's-era VHS tape of Gobots in a used movie store last year, i watched it was bad. Yeah they were a Transformers rip-off. The Gobots home planet was called "Gobotron"...sound familiar??? p.s. bishop u want to buy Ultimate X-Men #1-7 off me? 1st prints NM/Mint.

u might be right, got a good point. Edwards brings some of those southern Christian values to the table that more right-leaning Americans like. updated my list: Platoon Apocalypse Now Band of Brothers (it counts ok) Star Wars Ep.4-6 (heheheee counts too!) Full Metal Jacket Tigerland Braveheart Downfall Rambo 2 & 3 ...and if it counts, Dances With Wolves (American Civil War, plus some indians duking it out). Seen bits of The Deer Hunter, but would like to watch it all. Also want to see "Letters From Iwo Jima".

Say what?? The robots ARE the characters. I'm not saying get rid of the humans completely, but i would have cut the human story back a bit. In the movie it seemed like the humans were the focus on-screen for 75% of the time, and the robots 25%. I would change it to robots 70%, humans 30%. I don't see a problem with making the movie more serious, but have some jokes throughout instead of just campy over-the-top comedy. Spider-Man 1 & 2 (3 kinda sucked) had serious themes in it along with the cool action, but also had some humour & that combo worked perfectly. I will say though, that at least the flick was way better than "Doom". That movie SUCKED!!!

I think if they edited out the talking loops & most of the "Try again" loops at the beginning of the song, "Champions of Nothing" would be a great single. Its bar far the best song on the album IMO. But again the key is to edit the song down from its 9-minute length. I also think any song between A Single Explosion, 99% Of Us Is Failure, I'm A Window, & She's In It For The Money would be a good single too. I like Black Helicopter too, too bad the CD version kinda blows. I think "I'm A Window" is probably the "catchiest" for a radio release.
