James Franco?!???!?! NO!!!!!!!!!!! First, i'd set EP1 near the same period as EP2 & 3. No matter who you cast, having Anakin as an 8-year old is going to come off cheesy, annoying, and stupid. Also, for the entire prequels i'd have Anakin a little bit older, maybe 25-ish, so they can cast a real good actor in the role & also so Anakin doesn't come off as a whiney teenager. I'm not sure who i'd cast. Maybe Colin Farrel when he was a bit younger, he's got a natural "bad-ass" quality to him & is a good actor despite some really shitty roles (see him in "Tigerland", good movie). I'd get Irvin Kershner or Peter Jackson to direct the prequels. Lucas could still story-board the action sequences if he wanted to, he's still awesome at action scenes just horrible at dialogue. Get rid of as much CGI as possible, like Peter Jackson did in LOTR trlogy. I could go on forver if guess so ill stop.

I saw in the paper today Green Party leader Elizabeth May was born in 1954 in Connecticut, NY in the United States, and that her family first moved to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia in 1972. So doing some crappy math & a bit of research, May spent the first 18 years of her life as an American citizen living in the U.S. She only got her citizen ship a few years later in 1978, at the age of 24 (or 23, not sure). This is just completely unacceptable to me for a leader of a significant Canadian federal poltical party who is running to be Prime Minister of Canada. What do u guys think? Is she still fit to be PM? I'm quite undecided in this election of which of the major parties i want to vote for, but i guess i can cross one party off the list (oh, and the Bloc lol).

Good point about the torture affecting his life expectancy. But i don't think the most dangerous thing about age is chance to get cancer again or drop from a heart attack. When you get older, your memory starts to go, your judgement isn't as sharp, and other things psychologically can occur. Ronald Reagan announced he had Alzheimer's a few years after he left office, however i've heard reports that he was not all right upstairs in the noggin' towards the end of his presidency. My grandmother suffers from Alzheimer's. They are great at hiding the symptoms.

An amazing album. A few breathtaking songs on there, plus his banter about the songs is insightful & just adds to the atmosphere (like "Old Man"). I totally love the "A Man Needs a Maid/Heart of Gold" medley. 'Rust Never Sleeps' is another freaking amazing live Neil Young album Going to see Neil Young when he comes to Ottawa this Dec. Better be worth the $90!!!

Fuck Starship Troopers. Peter Jackson is the man who knows how to do modern special effects. This is the forumla: get some awesome sfx talent, use practical effects as much as humanly possible, and only use CG in those scenes & instances when practical effects won't work and/or will look like ass. If Lucas did LOTR all the freakin orcs would be CG & the Battle of Helm's Deep would look like the videogame.(not to mention a horrid script).

Nope, its all legit. The site's been around since 1999 and 100% of sponsor money goes to aid. But ya if i ran it i would pocket it all.

I DL'd most of the demos because i thought most of these tracks wouldn't land on a CD. Woops. I regret DL'ing them now bigtime. I didn't even listen to the hospital music stream Matt put on his site a month before the CD hit cuz i wanted to wait for the CD.

Ya but it still annoys me how everything looks so squeeky clean in the prequels. Blame a lot of that on the CG overuse. And like does everyone in the prequels wash and iron their clothes 5 times a day? I swear. Show me a character on Coruscant or Naboo that has a speck of dirt on him...or is missing a button on their shirt.

Its a lot quicker & more effective than the very small portions of rice that other game will donate. There's a few other great causes you can click on too (save the rainforest, animal rescue etc.). I've bookmarked the site at the top of my list & have done my very best over the last 2 years since ive discovered the site to visit EVERY day i have access to a computer. Say about 300 days a year i click the site = 330 cups of rice per year i donate FOR FREE!!!;) With the rainforest page i save about 3400 square feet of rainforest every year!!

i went to an MG show last year at a theatre that had a no-camera policy. I just carried it in no problem, and if they are really sticky they will warn u over the PA before the show to take no pictures. However, this is mostly bullshit. As long as you aren't taking tons of flash pics or disturbing the show in any major way, you'll be fine. You'll see other people taking pics so that will mmake u more comfortable. You won't need your flash much anyways, since the stage will be well-lit and MG likely have a spotlight on him. Pics turn out way better without the flash than with. Have fun at the show.
