At work, when we do Stargate stuff, we often refer to him as Macgyver. It's quicker than saying his actual name and everyone knows who you're talking about. Apparently he doesn't like that though. Oh well, I'll probably never meet him so I'm okay. Macgyver rules!

I heard somewhere that Ian was into drugs. But I don't want to start a big rumour here. I can't even remember where, but I seem to remember someone mentioning Ian offered them drugs once. Maybe it was a story in one of the MG memories thread. It maybe happened at Bryan Adam's studio? Does that sound familiar to anyone? I don't feel like searching for it.

Then why bother even posting that bit of nothing?

My So-Called Life

Speculating about the lives of others if for those who don't have one. Speculating about people they don't know is just stupid. Yes, we can all read her thoughts on her blog, but that doesn't mean that's all there is to her. That's like reading my posts and thinking you know me. 'Cause you don't. Except for phantomzero, but we've been friends forever and he never posts so he doesn't even count.

Oh good, another thread about his wife. And the topic of this one is even lamer than the others. I guess we really are running out of things to talk about.

I'm so glad this question finally got answered! Nice work!

The new Bennifer is he and Jennifer Garner. But I really like Jennifer so I'm against calling them Bennifer because I like to deny she's with him. So let's go with Assfleck. That's a good one. And yeah, there was a 3rd Die Hard. I haven't seen the whole thing but it was a little better because they actually decided to try a different story instead of just redoing the original. But you really can't beat the original.

Yeah, Juanpe is a nice guy so lay off.

Untrue. You have a clue that you don't have a clue. Does that make sense? Are you following me here? I don't get it.

Then I guess it comes down to what interests each country has in whatever crisis is occuring. There were tourists from all over the world in the Tsunami area, but not very many foreigners in Rwanda. Therefore the media doesn't care. That's too bad. It's all about ratings and business. I'm glad that I (and you) have the sense to look elsewhere. -
I am paying attention which is why I'm wondering why he thinks Crusader is talking to him when Crusader is obviously talking to the real Scot. OGM U pay attnetion plz kthnx.

I can't really say where the media was during the Rwanda genocide. I was 14 and wasn't really concerned with world issues back then. I was trying to get a date with a cute girl or something. For all I know the media was there 11 years ago. Do you know if it was or wasn't? -
if you're asking me to explain, spell my fucking name right please! if not Skott, at least Scott, no 1 T. I really don't wish to be held in the same regard as him, espically since I met him personally and have my own stories about him, matt good related and personal shit. well then you really have no idea how extreme it got in person. oh well. He's talking about the original Scot. The one who we're all talking about as the stalker. The one who spells his name "Scot". That's why he said "Scot" and not "Skott". Unless that's actually you too. Is it? Scot?

And that's the exact reason people rag on the history teacher guy.

Of course the media picks a topic and moves on. You just proved that in your own post. The Tsunami was this huge natural diaster. It got huge coverage, but now we've already moved on. There's still the odd story, but not much. And that was only four months ago. Now with DR Congo, and most other parts of Africa, it's been going on for years. Yes, there are a lot of people dying, but it's old news. And there's no real American of Canadian interests over there so it's not as big a deal. There are no Canadian tourists to worry about. And what you're talking about I assume is the main media in Canada and the US. Because when I go check my news everyday, I can usually see a new story on DR Congo. I'm not sure where you get your news, but check out http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/ I think you'll find it's a good place to start. -
All those shows kinda suck. They should all be cancelled. Especially Tru Calling. Hey, here's a boring show, and just when you get bored with the first half, we're going to do it all over again but just a little bit different. I'll take The OC anyday.

I think the people who need their balls in a vice are the people who come on every week and start the same thread about History Teacher when there's another thread (or four) just like it that they could find if they just bothered to look.

OMG I feel so old. I remember hearing Beautiful Midnight when I had been out of high school for a couple years. Elementary school?

How do YOU know if I'm being sarcastic? Huh? Look out your window. That's right. See me? Hi! And yeah, if you're going to criticize someone, just fucking do it! Don't try to smooth it over with "cheers". cheers

Finally, an intelligent post in this thread. Thank you. B-Sides are recorded songs that don't fit on the album. When a band has no money, they can't record extra songs. Duh.

Because it's not news anymore. The media reports on current news and moves on to keep people interested. They reported on problems in DR Congo and other parts of Africa when it happened, but then moved on, just like the Tsunami. It's unfortunate, but most people don't care. There are still ways to find out about these things in world and if you care about it, then it's up to you to educate yourself, others and find out how to help. Fuck the media. Learn this stuff on your own and pass it on to others who might care. -
I plan to make movies that don't suck. Like some good character and story driven movies. Something that actually has some substance and is still enjoyable to watch.

My money's on Christopher Nolan. Speilberg's amazing at what he does. But c'mon, did you see Memento? Brilliant! And don't even get me started on George Lucas.
