Speaking of Matt Good videos... i only saw Alert Status Red once! Usually his videos climb to the top of Much Musics charts, but it looks like things are changing. I think interest in Matt is going downhill fast.

It's been a few years now since i had to worry about a show being 19+, but boy do i remember how pissed off i was all the time when i was 17,18 and a show would come up that i couldnt go to! It's just something that everyone has to go thru i guess.... like chicken pox!

The Vogue is a pretty cool place for a show. The thing i wasnt a huge fan of is that you pretty much have to remain in your seat, there isnt much open space. There arent any bad seats, so if you are thinking of driving up for the show, DO IT!

I've seen him 5 times and all 5 have been awesome, but a couple of moments stand out for no real reason, they just do. 1. During the last ever MGB show in July 2001 in Vancouver they played a 'new' song... it was Fall Of Man... and i always remember it sounding amazing and there were several HUGE crowd surges during the song... one of those ones where it seems like the entire crowd is moving at the same time. 2. Last summer at my most recent Matt Good show he debuted Its Been Awhile Since I Was Your Man and i happened to be at the show with an ex-girlfriend (we're still friends) but it felt kinda wierd listening to him play it while standing next to her. :angry: I also remember really liking the "listening to Led Zeppelin 4" line because it is one of my favorite albums. ;)

I would use this opportunity to put my favorite song of all time in here, but its only one word "Black" and that would be boring, so let's go with another kick ass song............. "Fell on Black Days" Soundgarden

I drove down to Vancouver last week to see their show at the Commodore. It was excellent!! I was in Victoria the following day and they were playing with Sam Roberts at an outdoor venue so i thought i'd check it out but it was sold out. That wasnt going to stop me, so i stood on top of a brick garden wall and i could easily see over the fence and watched most of their set before my ride came to pick me up. It was cool. Only suckers paid to seee that show!
