  1. Apparitions Rat Who Would be King Weapon
  2. So I've been in love with this song the past couple of weeks and i was thinking that even though it isn't my favorite song of all time, i think it might be the best lyrics written. I like the fact that you can understand what the song is about but the lyrics are kinda cool and mysterious. Specifically the part i highlighted. What do you think of the song and lyrics?? I took my love and I took it down Climbed a mountain and turned around And I saw my reflection in the snow-covered hills 'til the landslide brought it down Oh, mirror in the sky -What is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changin'...ocean tides Can I handle the seasons of my life? I don't know.....I don't know Well I've been afraid of changin' because I've built my life around you But time makes you bolder, even children get older And I'm getting older too.... So, take my love...take it down Climb a mountain and turn around and if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills... well the landslide will bring it down The landslide will bring it down
  3. I made sure i went into it NOT expecting Jay and Silent Bob. I didn't think it was excellent, but it was worth watching... in fact i think i should go rent it in the near future. One thing I really like in it was some of the music! Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" and Pete Townshend's "Let My Love Open the Door"... 2 fabulous songs!!
  4. I dont think i could say one, but my favorites are: American Beauty Rounders Back to the Future Jaws Easy Rider All 5 Kevin Smith's Jay and Silent Bob flicks
  5. I've gotta get musical tag going again! "Indifference" Pearl Jam
  6. I can't believe that Good Charlotte is leading! I kinda like them... My vote was for Creed. It was a pretty easy vote. The funny thing about Creed is that i use to like them... i even have their 1st 2 albums!! I definately dont listen to them anymore though!
  7. Ommissions Suburbia Failing Rorshcach
  8. Mine would be "Anti-Pop" w/ "Fall of man" a close second.
  9. The Killers "Hot Fuss" (best album of the year) Matt Good "WLRRR" (Close second) The Darkness "Permission to Land" Franz Ferdinand "Franz Ferdinand" Tea Party "Seven Circles"
  10. Hello Time Bomb Primetime Deliverance Runing For HOme
  11. "Jump Around" House of Pain
  12. It would actually be Matthew Good. But for shits and giggles I'll say Pearl Jam, even though they are #1. It's close but i dont think that Matt will ever quite pass them. How about i say this. 1a Pearl Jam 1b Matt Good
  13. There is no way that the video only cost 15 bananas, but it was still a really good idea for a video. Plus, the song is great too.
  14. 1. Giant 2. Everything is Automatic 3. Haven't Slept in Years (Super hard choice. Probably should be Weapon, but i wanted to be different!) 4. Empty Road 5. Alert Status Red 6. Failing the Rorschach Test 7. Suburbia 8. Primetime Deliverance (Easiest dissicion) 9. Near Fantastica 10. Indestructable 11. Ommission of the Omen (Close call w/ Buffalo Seven) 12. Future is X Rated 13. Born to Kill 14. Running for Home (kinda obvious, since its the only 14)
  15. This was over 2 years ago now, so he might have moved on, but Dave Genn was in Holly McNarland's band...... As for the comment on them being rich and taking time off... their is no way that is the case! You have to sell alot more albums than MGB did to be rich. I dont think it would even be possible for a band whose success was just in Canada to make enough money to be considered 'rich'.
  16. Does This Look Infected- sum 41
  17. Fall of Man (toughest choice so far) Weapon Alert Status Red Inescapeable Us Future is X Rated Under the Influence
  18. I've flown twice from Smithers to Vancouver to see him. It's about 1200km each way. And those plane tickets dont come cheap either!! $400. As for too far to go... its depends on the situation. If you are going on vacation, try to plan it around a concert. Almost everytime i come down from northern BC to Vancouver i plan it around a show. For example i drove the 1200km each way over the labour day weekend to see the Killers in Vancouver and Victoria. And when i was in Alabama earlier this summer i saw Live/Fuel/Foutains of Wayne. As long as i was spending time in the place, it wouldn't really matter where the concert was. I'd love to go to Europe sometime and see one of my favorite bands play there. That would be sweeeeet.
  19. Carmalina. The video is really funny though. There is probably something off LOTGA too that i can't think of. Overall i'm not a huge fan of that album.
  20. I can't believe that this is a close vote! Ommission of the Omen is one of my favorite songs and Hopeless is, well, i dunno... ok.
  21. That was the only one... its not like i watch movies all day, every day... it was just a stupid joke... it was the worst movie i'd seen yesterday though. It wasnt the worst movie i've seen recently because Club Dread sucked donkey dick!
  22. I saw The Village last night and it was the worst movie i'd seen all day!! I was horribly disapointed. I was expecting alot of tense moments and scenes that make you jump (like Signs) but i got nothing out of it. I wont go into much more because it seems like others still want to see it and i dont want to spoil this bad movie for them. I thought i should add that i dont get impressed easily by movies and no one ever seems to agree with my reviews. ;)
  23. Well, being that Primetime Deliverance, Suburbia, and Born To Kill are my 3 favorite songs... i'd have to say i wish they were singles.
  24. "London Calling" The Clash
  25. "Why Don't You and I" Santana & Chad Kroeger
