When i was there it was only on cable FM, but i believe they have a small FM transmiter now. So you can hear it only in the Burnaby area. I don't think it's at 104.5 now either. I think its 107 something. I dunno, i'm not a doctor.

I'm a DJ at a real station, albeit not the biggest station in the world. It's up in northern BC in Smithers. I went to BCIT so i used to work at their campus station CFML 104.5, but i've been in Smithers now for almost 2 years.

I did mention it on the air today! I played Near Fantastica and sent it out to the folks at NF.com. You should send me peanut butter cookies. ;)

I work at a radio station and this afternoon i'm doing the request show and we don't have to stick to the regular format. So, I'm trying to figure out what Matt Good songs i should play. Requests? hehe.

I don't know if it'll count because it was in 2003, but twice last year I bought a $400 plane ticket to fly down from northern British Columbia to see Matt in concert in Vancouver. I would've been down there this week for the show's but i couldn't get the time off work. In conclusion, i nominate myself.

"Money" Pink Floyd

Empty Road is a good choice for a single because it WILL get alot of crossover to other radio formats. Not only will rock stations play it, but because it's slower, it'll likely get picked up by Adult Comtemporary, Middle of the road and maybe even Top 40 stations. For more exposure, Empty Road is a great choice for a single. I'm really glad it's the next single because the station i work at will play it!! Then again, we play Alert Status Red too.

"Haven't Slept in Years" MGB

I was looking at some of the setlist of his tour this year and i noticed a couple songs i haven't heard before. Big City Life (I understand now its new) Hopeless (New? Or is it an unreleased song?) Can't Get Shot in the back (Again. New? Unreleased?)

What's the deal? I started this exact same thread about a month ago and no one really responded. Oh well. As for my opinion of them. They are my favorite new band right now!! I even convinced the Music Director at the radio station i work at to add "Somebody Told Me". Amazingly she did! I can't stop playing "Hot Fuss". It's such a breath of fresh air compared to most bands these days. I'm loving them so much i'm gonna drive down from northern BC to catch there concert in Vancouver on Sept. 3rd! I can't wait!! They get my personal thumbs up!
