I'll take the easy way out!! "Sleight of Hand" Pearl Jam

The one song that would have to be on there would be "Primetime Deliverance". It's my favorite song and in the 5 shows i've seen, he's never played it ;) "Suburbia" and "Born To Kill" are always excellent live and someday I'd love to hear "Enjoy The Silence" too.

Last night i was looking at some old liner notes from my cd's and stumbled across "Beautiful Midnight". Does anyone know what all the "hidden/holographic" writing on the front and back cover is?? Is it lyrics to an unreleased song? I found out once, but know I can't remember. Help me so i can sleep at night again. On a related note, I think it is one of my favorite album covers/liner notes ever.

I pretty much have everything I can get my hands on. LOTGA Raygun Underdogs Beautiful Midnight Loser Anthems Audio of Being Avalanche WLRRR I've never been able to locate a REAL copy of Lo Fi B-Sides, but I do have them burned along with that cool song "Fated" from an old Edgefest cd i think. I Also have 2 burned CD's of stuff from Matt's pre MGB days... "The History Teacher" is what I hear its called. I also have a bunch of singles that I've been able to snap up at radio stations. They are nothing special, just cool souveniers.

"More Than A Feeling" Boston

Man, there are a ton. I won't go into the reasons behind the songs. Why? Because that's why! Some are good memories, others bad. The only movie soundtrack that i really like is for "Singles". Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Mother Love Bone, Screaming Trees, and more!! Tough to beat!

Sometimes it is dumb when bands try and get the crowd to sing because not enough people know the words. But if they do know em, it can be awesome! Especially at big concerts.

Well, that's 2 votes for crazy! ;) It sucks sooo much ass that plane tix are so expensive, but i've gotta come home to the city every few months or I'll go crazy! And no, I don't have $$ coming out of my ears. I have quite a low salary but I just make sure there is cash around for occasions like that. This might make it sound less crazy, but I wasn't just flying down for the show and flying back. I'd be staying down in Vancouver for a few days too.

"Of The Girl" Pearl Jam

Loud. Very Loud. When I saw them it was a few weeks before their album came out so I was very unfamiliar with them at the time and couldn't tell you what songs they played, but obviously the show was good enough for me to go by their album! I do remember lead singer Jared Leto having a weird haricut with super long bangs that were always in his face and looked like they were annoying him! ;)

The Chili Peppers were part of the best concert I've ever seen and the best part was they were a "surprise" guest on the bill!! It was November 2000 on Pearl Jam's "Binaural" tour and we went down to Seattle for the tour ending show and there was going to be a surprise band open and it turned out to be RHCP!! They played for 1 hour and a half and they were the openers! Then Pearl Jam blew the roof off Key Arena and played for 3 hours!! Amazing! Best concert ever!

I kinda remember them. I remember my friend buying one of their tapes in like grade 6 (1993). Are they still alive and kicking???

"Another Love Song" Queens of the Stone Age

Does anyone else out there have The Killers debut cd "Hot Fuss"?? There's a good chance you've heard the first single "Somebody Told Me" on the radio or the video on Much or MTV. It's got a real 80's vibe to it... lots of synthesizers and stuff. I'm not gonna lie to you, this album is amazing! I bought it the same day i got WLRRR, right before I had to make the 12 hour drive from Vancouver back up to northern BC and it was a constant battle between the 2 for playing time in the cd player!! It was one of those albums where you haven't heard it, but heard good things so i decided to pick it up and it just blew me away! It's not like you guys even know me, but this record gets my stamp of approval! It's a nice change from all the Nickelbackish bands that have dominated the airwaves for the last few years. If you're into downloading rather than buying, check out "Somebody Told Me", "Jenny Was a Friend of Mine", "Smile Like You Mean It" and "All These Things I've Done"... at least those are my faves.

I really like them! There album is very solid. I too got to see them open for Incubus 2 summers ago in Vancouver.

The best song from LOTGA is the hidden track, "Ommissions of the Omen"

I've got a few shirts and patches/stickers but I really like the hoodie that I got made and my autographed copy of Matt's book and auto'd copy of "Audio of Being".

I don't know if it counts as crazy but twice in the last year or so i've spent $400 on a plane ticket to fly down from northern BC to see Matt in concert... unfortunately I won't be able to get down for the Commodore show on Aug 5th. ;)

Excellent! I hope he makes his way north because I'm stuck up there. A Prince George show would be nice.

Are there going to be anymore BC shows announced?? I sure hope so. I won't be able to get down to Van for the show at the Commodore.
