I am totally having a shirt that says "Who's Rico?" made for the Vancouver show.

Finished SP portion of Battlefield 3. Some really frustrating parts (one part with cheap enemies, two parts with unclear direction regarding actions you are supposed to take, bad lighting in some spots), and story wise it was pretty run of the mill, but overall, it was still a good campaign and something I will play through again. There are a couple of really intense set pieces that I quite enjoyed. Have only spent a couple hours playing MP and I find it a little more difficult than CoD multi, but overall, I am having more fun with it I think.

Well setlist.fm lied to me then.

Apparently 99% made it into the set in Ottawa. Full band?

Because "fuck you", that's why. JK Which of us have been infected by the Thing? Other than sodamntired, naturally.

Have watched "Hanna" a couple times in the last few weeks. Probably one of my favorite movies of the last couple years. Saw "The Thing" (2011). Not as good as "The Thing" (1982)- I felt it lacked the thing that made "The Thing" (1982) such a classic, that thing of course being the tension of not knowing who has been infected by the thing. It is still a surprise when you find out, but at the same time, going into "The Thing" (2011) after seeing "The Thing" (1982) kind of takes some of the surprise factor out of there. What I thought was really clever was the test they used to determine who was infected- crude, imperfect, but clever.

At the same time though, he is playing with 3 new musicians (yes, at this point in time, Ian Browne is a new musician for all intents and purposes), one of which came in during the last few days of rehearsals. I'm okay with them taking 20 or 25 songs and getting them supertight sounding- it's better than adding 5 or 10 more and possibly having the whole show suffer for it. And who knows, maybe some new stuff will be thrown is as they do soundchecks etc etc.

This reminds me- must go to Bang On and get a "Who the fuck is Rico?" shirt made for the show.

Yeah, don't judge anything by a video or bootleg- no matter how good, it just isn't the same as seeing it for yourself. I can't wait until December.

I should probably let my dad know that my VIP stuff is being sent to his house. Tickets just had to go on sale at a time when I didn't know if I'd be moving or not.

It is better, hurray!

Is there any way for Sticky Situations to not say "Protected Forum" when you are logged in? I'm sure there are people like me who click whatever thread is usually in that spot, as it's one of 3 that is updated semifrequently.

I can't math well.

14 songs including encore isn't too short- a bit shorter than average, but not bad.

I see that it says "LOGO" on the top of the page, I'm guessing where a log is supposed to go. And you know, things like "AnOceanPearl's photo". OTher than that, so far so good.
