They're recording at the Warehouse again, which Matt has recorded quite a few records at, possibly including AoB. I'd have to check the actual album when I get home from work if Audio was recorded there. EDIT: Audio was recorded at the Armoury Studio/Warehouse Studios according to the CD.

They're parts of album songs. Drums and bass recorded first.

Anton, Matt is in fact producing himself. And after hearing Matt says that this is a Pat record in terms of drums, and now hearing some of them, yeah, I can't see anyone else playing these tracks.

Studio diary link is gone.

You mean you couldn't take my word? I'm insulted! :P

There's a studio diary link on the official site now. Nothing posted there yet.

I haven't been there since it was changed to Flame Central, so I don't know how much it's changed, but I remember the sound was AWFUL. It felt like the soundwaves were just bouncing off the walls and getting muddled down. I still had a great time though- first concert I'd ever seen, and it was about a year after my parents split up and was one of the few times I got to spend some time on my own with my dad during high school, so that was nice.

Middle Class Gangsters My Life as a Circus Clown The Devil's In Your Details

First was an all ages show at the Palace (back when it was still the Palace) and the 2nd was Stampede that same year. Fact: the Stampede show was the first time I had ever met in person someone I had met from the internet.

I didn't do anything this year because I spent $200 on guitar stuff a couple weeks ago and I'm covering some of Shay's bills etc. But next year, I am debating about being the robot Shay drew for me and I have tattooed on my arm, or Louis Tully from Ghostbusters.

Whats Your Ringtone?
AnOceanPearl replied to sodamntired's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
This thread being bumped has reminded me that I need to make my Pixies "La la Love You" ringtone at some point in my life. -
I was at that Calgary show! That was my... third MGB show if I remember correctly. The girl who got pulled onto the bull onstage was someone I went to high school with.
-
I don't think that's coming to pass on this album.

Sporadic user Finboy bought Matt's old Tonemaster amp. He lives in Calgary, I live in Burnaby, so I was tasked with picking it up. Figured I'd ask while I was there.

Pat Steward will be returning on drums.

I definitely think it's worth the 10 bucks, but with Christmas nearing, Steam will have their winter sale, so you'll probably see it for cheaper then. I really like it- today was the first time I played it and I looked at the time, looked at the game, looked at the time again and somehow 2 hours had passed, so it can really suck you in.

I shouted "thank you" to Matt after he played Protest Song in Calgary one year. I thought that was reasonable as he put it on the set at my request.

I'd probably get it just for Just Cause 2 and Quantum Conundrum. Played Blood Money on 360 when it first came out, and wasn't a fan of Deus Ex. Not interested in the other games. But still, that's a pretty rad deal. Still playing much Borderlands 2. Finished the story with a commando, about 2/3 the way through with a Siren and there's DLC coming out this week. I also have an idea about how I'm going to spec my assassin class even though I have no idea when I'll start that. Also, slowly leveling my shaman in WoW to 90. Very slowly.
