  1. That's the month of my birthday! Sweet. EDIT: Here's an interview I just found http://www.spinner.ca/2013/03/20/matthew-good-old-fighters/
  2. I'll save you the trouble and just link to the flickr set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/unicornsof911/sets/72157594309847731/
  3. Shame. Thought it was great.
  4. I happened to think it was excellent.
  5. There is still this tab page there: http://www.mgtabarchive.com/tab.html And here's the email address on the front page, don't know if it's still in use: [email protected]
  6. Good ol' runningforhome.
  7. Watched Dredd. Love it. Very fun action flick and Olivia Thirlby is now my celeb crush du jour.
  8. 1)Create playlist 2)Right click playlist name 3)Click 'burn playlist to disc'
  9. I'm so glad someone found that post again. I remember reading it many times when it was first posted and I've read it probably 5 or 6 times since Chris posted the link. I'm not exaggerating when I say his music has changed my life and helped me get through some really dark times, and growing up and living with my mom, who suffers from manic depression and bipolarity, that post helped put things into a better perspective for me.
  10. The Raid: Redemption Loved it.
  11. Lots and lots of Tom Waits lately, and holy shit a lot of that stuff is bleak.
  12. Slaughterhouse-Five is fantastic. Vonnegut is fantastic.
  13. I wonder if Matt even still has that on his computer. From all the times he's asked fans to send him previous demos of songs, he seems to delete stuff once he figures he won't use it.
  14. Halting State by Charles Stross and The Best of Down Goes Brown by Sean McIndoe.
  15. Read Drive and it's sequel Driven (by James Sallis) over the last week. Nice short, tight, gripping reads. Love them.
  16. Like it says in the thread title, this is the collection being released in international markets, where his discography is unavailable (probably)
  17. I can never seem to get the "Hey are ya..." parts in Load Me Up.
  18. The Walking Dead. Excellent game, excellent story telling. Really enjoying.
  19. I would agree with the EitS influence. I though the ending of Non Populus sounded very much inspired by Explosions.
  20. My friend found a copy at HMV last year apparently, so she's out. I got nothing for ya.
  21. One reason to go to Surrey: Sandwich Nazi. Downtown is nice, there's plenty to do. If you want delicious, but kind of expensive food, I recommend Abigail's Part in Kitsilano. Some of the best food I have ever had. If I'm not working and you have no plans, I'd totally be down for hanging out. Tracy can vouch that I'm not totally weird.
  22. It took me three attempts to make it past the first few episodes of season 1. I do like the show, but personally, I find that when it slows down, it slows down a bit too much and make things drag out. I have no problem with the slow-burn type of drama and tension, but it almost fizzles out a lot of the time which can make it hard to stay engaged. I will copy and paste this later on in the thread just to make sure you read it :)
  23. According to a Milos tweet, bass is now done.
  24. I have a friend who may be interested, will get back to you on that.
