  1. Where it says that the Hives are saving rock n' roll, the Flaming Sideburns have an album called 'Save Rock n' Roll', and the Hives are almost exact carbon copies of the Flaming Sideburns. Just thought I'd point that out...
  2. Yeah, I agree that the Wil album doesn't capture the awesomeness of the live show, but it's good to relax to on a rainy day, I find
  3. No, the cover doesn't really matter. I just like the sound of my own typing.
  4. Did anyone see Zell Miller at the RNC? I think that would definitly give a small backlash to them, especially now that they're trying to distance themselves from their own keynote speaker. Try comparing tht to Barack Obama who gave the keynote speech at the DNC. That was a damn good speech if you ask me, and very positive, not based on fear mongering and ridicule and negativity like Miller's. What's even funnier is that Miller is a Democrat who the GOP welcomed with open arms. C'est ironique, eh?
  5. The new album doesn't come out until the 28th. There's a player on their website http://www.interpolny.com that lets you listen to 2 new songs.
  6. CTV Newsnet is running a story of Chechen citizens who are protesting the hostage taking and are denouncing the terrorists. It warms the heart when such troubled people can stand up against the crazed ideologues who claim to be acting for their benefit.
  7. I just heard a couple of songs off their new album 'Antics', and it sounds great. It's not too big of a departure from 'Turn Off The Bright Lights', but it still rocks. I'd love to see a tour of Interpol, Muse, and Franz Ferdinand.
  8. 1) Haven't Slept In Years 2) Future Is X-Rated 3) A Boy And His Machine Gun 4) Pledge Of Allegiance 5) Deep Six 6) My Out Of Style Is Coming Back
  9. Yeah, that just throws the entire plot of 'Shakespeare in Love' right out the window
  10. I found the ending to 'Da Vinci Code' to be anti-climatic. Other than that, both it and 'Angels & Demons' were quite good. Very well researched.
  11. True. Stephen Harper (Bend me over the table, Georgie!) Paul Martin (vindictive prick) Jack Layton (ummm...I think he's capable of killing someone) There's almost always an independent to give your vote to, and maybe send a message to the big time politicians
  12. Sadly, I supported it too at the beginning. Then I began to read a little, and I began to think of the many injustices and lies that occured, and now I'm fully against it. In newspaper, intelligence officials were on the record supporting it, but on other newssources they said, anonymously, that they were being pressured to give the Administration what they wanted (a case for invading Iraq). I doubt many people who aren't Americans would support the war even if the claims turned out to be true mainly due to the supreme arrogance of the Bush cabal up to, and during, the war. As well, much of the world views the Americans as hypocrites. What right do they have to tell other countries that they can't have WMD when they have the most advanced and vast stockpiles of WMD in the world? In 2002, they released a list of countries that could potentially face a nuclear strike: China, Russia, Iran, Iraq, Libya, and I think a few other Middle Eastern countries. ;)
  13. 'World To Me' - The Starting Line (Dave Genn produced their album, I believe)
  14. When I take the booklet out, it's red. But the case has this weird plastic thing on it that turns the cover blue when the booklet is inside
  15. 1) The Simpsons 2) M*A*S*H 3) Fawlty Towers 4) Law & Order 5) The Daily Show with Jon Stewart
  16. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2004/9/1/143439/0882
  17. 'Superman's Dead' - Our Lady Peace
  18. Democracy could work if the people who claim to support it all over the world would get off their lazy asses and vote here at home. In Venezuela, they had something like a 95% voter turnout. In Brazil, it's a misdemeanor not to vote.
  19. He usually has a few bodyguards around him when he's out in public.
  20. Daily Show (or in this case Late Night Show) owns all ;)
  21. 'Such Great Heights' - Postal Service
