  1. Maybe he didn't put the lyrics in the case because he wanted us to listen to everything and maybe be surprised, instead of knowing what's coming next; although I'll admit not getting the lyric booklet in my cd's is annoying at times.
  2. Perhaps the third Antichrist could be our way of life? Maybe the fear in which the world lives could trigger a disaster such as nuclear war, thus in effect destroying a fairly good chunk of society and the world.
  3. Manitoba representin', yo B) Our provincial bird is the mosquito, and it snowed all through May.
  4. They're a good Winnipeg band who blend classic and new rock together quite nicely. You can listen to some of their songs on their website, although the sound quality on the site isn't great. They're worth a listen for something catchy and fun to listen to.
  5. It is a bit hard to choose, because each consecutive album is a departure from the previous. Personally, I think the odds are 50-50 that if the band was still around today, they would sound just like Matt the solo artist, as he did most of the song writing anyway. That's why I picked MGB.
  6. 'Someday My Prince Will Come' - Miles Davis
  7. I play trumpet, and I'm thinking of getting into jazz piano, too. Weird Al's the man B)
  8. For me, probably 'Suburbia', mainly because I live in a dull suburban area. All the fun happens across the bridge. Other than that, 'Antipop', probably would suit me fine.
  9. Apparently we're also supposed to get 50 years of peace sometime in the next century. Pax Americana anyone?
  10. I was thinking that Chad who runs Disorientation knows quite a bit. His site is pretty complete with extra info too, so I'd say him.
  11. Click here Just as a side note, I don't take this seriously, just that a good laugh can't hurt once in a while.
  12. 'Paint it Black' - Rolling Stones
  13. yup...that's morphine for ya. woooooooowoowoowoowoowooooooo
  14. I saw an edition of muchnews where they interviewed Scott Moffat. Apparently he has a new band called Boston Public (they sounded good on the live clips) or something and he's trying to distance himself from his past. ;) ? Oh...wait...I see it now....haha that's cute.
  15. I don't like 'Invasion 1' all that much.
  16. I haven't seen much stuff live, but I'd have to go with 'Blue Skies Over Bad Lands' or 'Empty Road'.
  17. Apparitions is pretty sweet. Is Geoff Lloyd in the opening shot with the telephone ringing, or is that just my imagination?
  18. I'm not 100% sure. It was on their 'Modern Rock Inbox' thing where they play a few new songs every day.
  19. 'An Agreement Called Forever' - 36 Crazyfists
  20. 'Alone Down There' - Modest Mouse
  21. I did janitor work in my dad's office and reffed basketball at an elementry school, and no, my parents aren't rich, my dad is just self-employed
  22. I remember hearing 'Weapon' on Alias, and 'Hello Time Bomb' I think was on Men With Brooms. As to the next single, I heard 'Empty Road' on the radio the other day, on 91.3 the zone in Victoria.
