  1. Temple of the Dog - "All Night Thing" i've been listenning to it all day today on my MD player. ;)
  2. i see... im always confused about how magneto took the adamantium out of wolverine. he controls metal but did it come out in liquid or shards?
  3. that is a good question. i dont see why not... i mean... it must be mallable... how else did they graft it to wolverines bones??
  4. ;) maybe i shouldve been more specific. i should've followed what i had written by saying "no suprise there" or "as usual".
  5. how about we sing "we didn't start the fire" by billy joel instead. i like that song a lot better.
  6. yeah he's their guitarist at the moment. the artistic lifeblood of that band as far as i'm concerned.
  7. i used to listen to them back in the day. i just thought i should post this in case anyone might be interested in seeing/hearing their newest song. the lyrics seem to be rife with cliché... but the music ain't bad. btw it's in windows media format... 'The Truth' edit: spelling errorrrrrr
  8. okay guys let's get serious here for a second... who would win in a fight, wolverine or yoda? my money is on yoda.
  9. understood. no worries about the bitchness. people need to make that decision for themselves. i don't mind hearing a few of the tracks, especially if i am going to buy the album. the boots and the low quality songs are just tastes. nothing is going to compare to the experience i have when i hear it in surround sound for the first time.
  10. the_rat_who_would_be_king is only saying that juanpe broke the rules and that no one seems to care for some strange reason. to quote the person who started the thread: "but you cant use words like the, or, of...etc. and you cant use any remakes of the same song as a response, and you cant use the same artist as a response" which is what juanpe did, and many other people TRY to do. i don't understand why... the rules people. follow the rules.
  11. You know that comment just made you sound like a real fucking retarded douchebag. I'm not addressing those people I'm addressing people who didn't pay assclown! oh byu the way go fuck your donkey mother fucker! you're subtle. i like that. so what you're saying is that all of my other responses were valid except that one? i'm willing to live with that. your words, not mine. i dont understand why you feel the need to attack me personally and call me a 'douchebag' and tell me to go 'fuck my donkey'... unless you don't have any other way of arguing your point further. hmmmm.... we were having a discussion about piracy. the furthest i went was saying you weren't credible. if you want to prove me wrong about that, go right ahead. i'm sorry if what i said was somehow out of line. let's be civil here.
  12. THTF ---> a single. they get played on the radio and televison sometimes. maybe i should throw my electronics out. the line begins to blur ---> heard it, liked it, kept it home ---> non album track. i was going to have to download it sometime. getting smaller ---> heard part of it at a friend's house, i dont remember anything about it other than the title the fresno bootleg ---> everyone else who went to that show heard those songs too, you should write an angry letter about how they didnt put earplugs in their ears for the new songs. when matt good was making WLRRR, i heard "shot in the back" and "dusk" when he was making it, not to mention "alert status red" and "put out your lights" before the album came out. big deal. please don't preach to me about restraint or women either. this is the internet. you're about as credible as the sources used claiming WMDs were in iraq.
  13. i think comic book adaptations to film are fine. granted, not all of them are good, but it's a 50/50. it's like taking a script and performing it on stage. whoever is running the show, acting in it, producing, has a big effect on the outcome and determine with whether or not it's going to be good. also, since it's like a script, sometimes you take liberties with certain things or add other things for storyline purposes. obviously comic books arent concerned with their storylines, they can go on forever if they like. whereas with movies, you're stuck with fitting a story into a 2-3 hour medium. so, changes are necessary. i think you should embrace changes because it's an interpretation. if they called a movie "bob kane's batman", it would mean that the movie would be presented closest to how bob kane invisionned batman. you rarely see that though, especially with franchise movies. so, expect changes to be made. why else is there a point of seeing a live action film of something you're already familiar with. it's like the movie titanic (lol, horrible comparison)... we know what's going to happen at the end of it all, because the storyline is familiar to us. so, changes have to be made in other places. i think i'm rambling now. i'll stop. hopefully this makes sense.
  14. ouch. that sucks.... so far, i like "love is not enough" which i heard from the fresno show boot. i heard a few others from it, but refuse to comment since it's a bootleg. so im impartial to those at the moment. "the line begins to blur" and "home" are good too. i've heard "getting smaller" once, and i dont remember any of it, but i don't think i hated it. it was just different. and of course, "the hand that feeds" is slowly growing on me, but i didn't like it very much toward the beginning. to me, it's a bad NIN song, but any bad NIN song is usually still lightyears ahead of the shit they're playing on the radio at the moment. but of course, you might not agree.
  15. i'm sorry i missed it. bad timing on the queens' part with it being exam time for me at the moment. if and when they come back i'll make the effort to see them though. certainly one of the bands i have to see live in my lifetime.
  16. Autolux - "Great Days For The Passenger Element"
  17. i missed my 400th post... so im celebrating my 410.
  18. is it me or have they just been writing the same song over and over again?? like the similarities between all of the lyrical content on songs where the main message is "it'll be alright".... especially lately.
  19. Shandi's Addiction - "Calling Dr. Love (Kiss Cover)"
  20. man, how sweet would it be to become an internet celebrity... just think of all the possibilities that stem from that. i should really start up my own political blog.
  21. really? they keep saying the show isn't cancelled, nor will it be... did u read that letter by the fox exec saying that they want to keep AD around for many more seasons to come??? it used to be on the main AD website... i can't seem to find it now... but it doesn't make sense that fox would cancel a tv show that won an emmy for "best comedy series"... although it does seem a little strange that they aren't advertising at all for it, STILL!!!
  22. rockin' beck mainly. it's a good mix.
  23. Masters of Reality - "J.B. Witchdance feat. Jack Black"
