yeah i think i definitely would've been more interested in the band still and would've had more respect for them, had he stayed on. plus having bob rock as a producer is never good. are they working with him for this album as well? -
i just started reading the red part, and when i got to: "creation science has taught us that lisping is caused when satan elongates the tonge" i started laughing hysterically. man i can't believe people like this exist... please tell me this is fake... i have a feeling that it might be, since it links you to the "NRA's Kooky Kidz Korner" emphasis on the 'K'. also, the link to this thing made me somewhat doubtful the site was real: lock 'n load jesus

last night's episode was hilarious. i think buster's housekeeper/cleaning machine fetish is getting the best of him... but it was kick ass seeing him drunk. zach braff was pretty good, too. i'm looking forward to seeing george michael break up with anne... that bitch pisses me off. also, now that kitty has george's semen i'm kind of worried. and for people who don't watch the show, that might read a little confusingly. oh well, don't worry. WATCH THE SHOW. the end.

the only reason why i brought the lisp up was because i was confused. a lot of gay men do USE a lisp, meaning they don't have to talk that way, but they do, because it's almost expected of them to act feminine and i dont understand it. for example, my friend's mom's brother is gay. when he would speak to us he wouldnt have a lisp, but any time his gay friends would come over, suddenly the lisp would come out. yeah i realize not all gay men do that... but you see it a lot. and obviously not all of these people have speech impediments... so i'm wondering why some do it at all. EDIT: also, where the fuck is the "i accept gay people but am not gay myself" button on this stupid poll???

yeah like everyone else, i've never been a huge fan. i've never heard a full album though, so they might be amazing. i just never had the patience for them and never explored much in their direction. shirley manson is pretty hot though. if that means anything.

so you're saying matthew good is weak??? ;) i personally think that OLP's best albums were clumsy and spiritual machines. it's funny how they sucked as soon as they left arnold lanni. hmmmmmmmmmmmm... interesting... also, i think raine should change his name back to michael and stop pretending like he's god's gift to music or art for that matter. maybe he should start writing lyrics that sound like they're coming from a 30 year old man as opposed to a 15 year old girl. he could lay off the blow a little bit too... -

Would he be talking about Determinism? yeah i guess i could've just said "determinism" couldn't i? goddamn it. i studied the whole "free will v.s. determinism" argument in my crime and punishment class this year too. blast. thank you. -
move to canada.... not only do we have MGB/MG CDs readily available, but MG concerts (when he feels like it) and good healthcare.

are you saying it's a kind of defense mechanism?? an insecurity?? like instead of being just gay and just sexually oriented a different way, they have to draw attention to the fact that they're different and do everything opposite? i never thought of it like that. they might not even be acting feminine to BE feminine... they might just be doing it for the attention factor. i say this because the spartans were extremely homosexual in their culture, but i have serious doubts that they talked with lisps and were overtly effeminate. i'd like to hear some other opinions on this... i'm just trying to figure it out... i don't believe i'm 100% correct necessarily.

Has Religion Done More Good Than Bad?

john milton's 'paradise lost' touches on that topic a bit... the whole idea of 'god's plan'. this is of course, milton's own thoughts on the topic, not necessarily my own. just something interesting to consider. when satan falls, he realizes that no matter what he does, it all fits into god's plan. he could do the most horrible of acts, but because everything fits into god's plan, nothing he does is truely evil since it all fits into god's plan, which is purely good. so whatever satan does, he can't be a true rebel. so yeah, that negates the whole idea of free will. also, a character in the film "waking life" (good movie, you all should see it if you haven't) argues that at its simplest, our lives are governed by chemical reactions. when i have a thought, it's basically just electricity passing through chemicals in my brain. but when i have these thoughts, is it me thinking these first or am i just doing this because of the chemical reactions in my body? so how do we know that existence itself isn't the same sort of thing? how do we know that we're all not just one big chemical reaction just going through the motions? the dude said it better, but hopefully you get the jist of it. finally, i would just like to add something for all the people here who think that people who belong to a certain religion or faith are somewhat weaker or more dependant and therefore aren't thinking for themselves and just 'sheep'. your faith in your own intellect is the same thing as those people's faith in a higher power. -

see, this is what i don't get. if you're a man, and you like another man, why does one take on a more feminine role??? sure, it doesn't always happen, but when i've seen it, one is clearly more female than the other. is that being gay or is that people identifying with more than just the exterior?? in my life i've met a few gay men and other than the fact that they listenned to a lot of kylie minogue, they weren't flamboyant. where does the flamboyancy come from???
