  1. he's scheduled to be in toronto on saturday, july 2nd. playing @ the carlu. it's a 19+ show. tix are $40-$45.
  2. they're one of the only bands who managed to escape from the whole 'rap rock' label that had been placed on them. i personally like where they are now ("s.c.i.e.n.c.e" still rocks) because i think "a crow left of the murder" is them at their most focussed.
  3. i'd like to try it. it is the summer afterall, and i really have nothing else better to do. maybe you get to meet jenn #1.
  4. oh wicked!!! how soon does rich come?? 6-8 business days?
  5. i really didnt look to see if this has been posted before. i'm lazy that way. so if this question has been asked before, please link me to said thread. right said thread. bwahahaha. or feel free to make fun of my lazyness and try and hurt my self esteem with clever forum insults. anyways, onto the question(s): have any of you ever listenned to the songs on "beautiful midnight" at their specific hours??? ("giant" at 5pm, "hello time bomb" at 6pm, etc). if so, did you see god? also, seeing as how the album is called "beautiful midnight", does that mean that "let's get it on" is as close as we'll get to having a title track on that album, since it's time is midnight?
  6. unless theres no such thing as progression.
  7. that is a great word, keep this going! please.
  8. ouch, what's your beef with soundgarden?

  13. here's his myspace profile: http://www.myspace.com/billycorgan maybe songs will be posted soon. tour dates are up though.
  14. out of all the bands from the 'britpop' period, i never understood why oasis became the most famous.
  15. article about "with_teeth" salezzzz and upcoming MTV performance
  16. llluuuccccckkkkkyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
  17. yeah his voice is unmistakeable, but that isn't what made the song memorable. it's how his voice and the music work together, for me. it's new, but it's dark and well crafted. like you said, reminicient of smashing pumpkins songs.
  18. the song is a lot better than i thought it would be
  19. the album shares a lyrical/conceptual focus throughout, however the music varies from song to song, so some might argue that musically it isnt as tight as the downward spiral. as much as the music reminds me of his past, i found it's also very different for a NIN record. it's hard to explain.
  20. i'll give it a listen... hopefully it's amazing. hopefully it isn't zwan part 2.
  21. no, but a lot of people on here don't like it. the ones who do have already said so. what else is there to do??? no point in arguing over whether the album is good or bad, or if it's any better than mr reznor's previous releases.
