Chris Cornell Fans Question Mark
borntohula replied to ktopar's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
i love it. it really shows off his excellent songwriting, as did the temple of the dog album he wrote most of, and "seasons" from the singles soundtrack. which has to be one of my favorite songs ever. i wish he had more solo stuff. it's just so good. -

hahaha that was unexpected but hilarious. good job. the_rat_who_would_be_king and i agreed that we hate the fact that she and her sister are ruining music television daily. -

ok new battle... frank miller's batman versus optimus prime...

bob odenkirk seems to be the sexier of the two... but if you insist. i have only seen one skit, that being the "ronnie dobbs" one. and it was entertaining. and then i bought "run ronnie run" having not seen it and it was mind blowing.

ok that has to be sarcasm. No, that was honest. well then i'm sure theres a lot better things that you could be doing with your time than trying to prevent a forum from looking like idiots. -

again, who is going to determine what good music is?? im no fan of OLP or britney spears for that matter, but obviously some people are buying their records. if you see a forum about a subject you don't like, move on as opposed to telling anton to remove it. -
Our Lady Peace
borntohula replied to timotheory's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
so you're saying we should totally abandon the whole "music in general" because we need to focus plainly on matthew good and matthew good alone? -
Our Lady Peace
borntohula replied to timotheory's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
fuck credibility. music is subjective. no one is going to like the same things as you. no one has heard the same things you have either, so you can't expect people to agree. -

i really dont care if anyone here gets embarrassed. i hope this one of the times when you're being sarcastic... you know, you really shouldnt have to tell people you are being sarcastic anyways. obviously you arent doing something right. also, thanks insober, good to know. -

Limp Bizkit
borntohula replied to borntohula's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
i followed wes when he left limp bizkit and yes, eat the day was abandonned. they had trouble finding a lead singer ironically enough. the band kicked arse though. they posted some demos earlier on to find a singer and at one point had richard patrick in the fold but we all know he's a hack so i won't get into that. wes is working on solo stuff and almost done. it should be due out sometime in the summer i believe. danny lohner (formerly of NIN) and josh freese (apc, vandals) helped him out with it. im really pleased with hearing about that. it means i can get my wes borland fix w/ out having to hear fred durst, which is a relief. -

just because matthew good doesn't approve of our lady peace (and rightfully so) doesn't mean his fans have to do the same.
