  1. If I sell you a used car, then use that money to put out a hit on my boss, are you a criminal? No, we were just engaged in commerce, and then I used that money to do something illegal which you had no idea about.
  2. Well, if it was legal, you wouldn't have to buy it off unsavory people. And even then, he's the criminal if he goes and uses his drug money to do something illegal, not you.
  3. I was just reading the Bible, and talk about a preachy book. Everyone's a sinner! Except for that guy...
  4. You have a right to do anything that does not physically harm or defraud another person, in my opinion. There are many things that are crimes, which shouldn't be (ie, narcotic possession).

What would that kind of hat be called, if I were to search online?
  6. They probably are voting, but most MG fans are quite liberal. This isn't a good sample of the entire Canadian population.

No. This is a Fedora: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4...ine_drawing.png
  8. Where can I get a hat like the one MG is wearing, in Toronto?
  9. For Senate in 2008?
  10. It's Matthew Good related.
  11. Matthew Good has a collage up that says "Four More Years," with images from Iraq. But if Kerry had have won, it still would have been at least several more years of the same. And who is to say that Kerry would have been a more effective war time president? He hasn't exactly been the most consistent senator, that's for sure. Just my thoughts.
  12. That's the best kind of government. Who came up with that trend? Diefenbaker went down on a nationalist platform, and Pearson was elected on strengthening ties with America.
  13. They're just swingers, baby. And for the record, I put the GRRR in swinger.
  14. What do you mean?
  15. Moany bastard.
  16. In addition to Putin's consolidation of power and control of the media, this really is a sign that something is wrong. http://thescotsman.scotsman.com/internatio...cfm?id=69292005 Stalin back in favour as new statue goes up in Moscow FOREIGN STAFF A NEW statue of the Soviet dictator Josef Stalin is to be erected in Moscow, returning his once-ubiquitous image to the streets after an absence of four decades, a top city official said yesterday. Since Vladimir Putin became president in 2000, a number of Soviet symbols - including the national anthem and an army flag - have been restored to use, reflecting widespread nostalgia for the communist era. But the rehabilitation of Stalin - denounced by Soviet leaders after his death in 1953 for encouraging a cult of personality and killing millions of real and imagined opponents - had remained out of bounds. Statues of him were removed from Moscow in the 1960s. Oleg Tolkachev, Moscow’s senator in the upper house of parliament, said a monument was to be erected to Stalin and others who led the war against Hitler. A statue will also be built in the Belgorod region, near the Ukrainian border. In another sign of Stalin’s growing appeal, many prime-time television shows have recently depicted him in a positive light.
  17. Aye, t'was harsh. Don't give a shit. ;)
  18. Or rather because its pretty much the largest natural disaster in recorded history?
  19. You're a fucking genius.
  20. Ohh, good point. Though, I'm sure it's difficult to sneak that into a Book Depository.
  21. Why throw rocks when you can take him out from 1000 yards with a high power rifle? Jeez, common sense people!
  22. Yes, I believe so.
  23. I'm sure that'll really hurt his feelings: a bunch of dope-smoking, unemployed losers and their 60s-era hippie forefathers turning their back on him during the parade. I hope he doesn't cry.
  24. Anything. Individuals will have different ideas of how to do things. How can an entire community convene and somehow manage to get things done?
