  1. Yeah I was agreeing with you, you can calm down and put away your revolver.
  2. Somehow I think Matt wouldn't really appreciate a thread like this. /understatement
  3. Very avoidable. For the last few months I've been listening to everyone talk about this movie as if nothing funnier could ever exist in the universe. I haven't heard a single bad thing about it from anyone. So many people can't be wrong you'd think, turns out they not only can, but are. The movie is good for maybe only a chuckle or two, but given the 90 minute running-time..it's not worth it. All of the characters, themes, and comedy bits are tired and cliched. There's the typical high school scene, with the mean jocks, the pretty cheerleaders who look down on everyone else, the misunderstood nerd and a conveninetly-placed misunderstood nerdy girl, and of course the foreign exchange student. Because the movie wasn't long enough, they throw in a sub-plot with Napoleon's uncle selling tupperware and breast enhancers as a get-rich-quick scheme, he is helped out by Napoleon's older brother, a fruity nerd that's in love with a stereotypical black ghetto chick. Haha! What could be funnier or more original than stereotypical culture mismatch. Overall, the movie lacks a plot, and it's just not funny. Miserable.
  4. How timely. http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=11worst
  5. Somone's jealous it sounds like.
  6. Glad to hear this is a good movie, I plan on seeing it in a few days.
  7. I think the problem people have with Happy Holidays being said instead of Merry Christmas, is becasue Christmas is being taken out of the enitre holiday season as far as its actual meaning goes. For example, many school choir holiday concerts in the USA no longer sing Christian holiday songs such as "Silent Night" or "Joy To The World" because it's insensitive to non-Christians. However these programs always made it a point to include Hannukah, Kwanzaa, and songs not relating specifically to any religion thar are allowed to remain. That's hypocritical and wrong the way I see it.
  8. It's to be called "Sicko" and it's about the healthcare system, with a focus particularly on issues dealing with mental health. I'm looking forward to it. We all know that Moore isn't the most honest of film-makers, or maybe he is... but he'll at least get people talking about the topic of problems with healthcare.
  9. Pfft.. you probably won't survive the hazing the mods'll put you through before you can join their almost certainly evil brotherhood.
  10. There's no room for logic or facts in American politics.
  11. That's ok, there's no shortage of sexy women in my life; although I guess none are as sexy as Lauren, I can make do with what I have.
  12. No, that one's mine.
  13. Such contrasting titles for one song, City of Millions, and Empty Road.
  14. 1100 / 1101 posts... wonder why I'm so poor.
  15. I think this proves that record producers have a sense of humor.
  16. I'm of the opinion that the various restrictions the USA has placed on Cuba are hypocritical and wrong. Just spotted this article on CNN; I think it's good that Cuba can encounter a degree of success despite attempts on the part of the USA to sabotage any accomplishment they could potentially encounter. 22. I'm confused, some said there is no nudity in this movie, others saod that there is....which is it?? I only ask because it's an important deciding factor on whether or not to rent it.
  23. That's ridiculous. Hardly a single good one on that whole list.
