I don't like Sean Penn very much, but he did really well in this movie and also in Mystic River.

Seems like the most ridiculous and stupid premise for a movie, I don't plan to see it, even if for free.

Blink 182 can sound decent sometimes, but the vocals are just hella annoying most of the time, and when it comes to performing live, it's a real crapfest.

Apparently yes, this is a real black box recording from a Japanese aircrash. As for them being the equivolent to Limp Bizkit, that's offensive. Rammstein is infitiley more talented. They are more capable as musicians as far as playing instruments goes, their singer has a really amazing range, and also a much more capable songwriter, very talentetd when it comes to writing, even has a book of poetry out called "Messer."

Rammstein actually doesn't sing in English terribly often, especially when you take off the covers they've done for songs written in English. On "Reise, Reise" though, there's a song called "Moskau" which is sung largely in Russian, kind of interesting. I bought Reise, Reise on the day it came out, I've been a Rammstein fan for a long time, this is a great album. It's different from the previuos ones. "Ohne Dich" is a really powerful ballad, incidentally, they recently released a video for that song, you can download it at www.mutter.ru, click the link underneath the picture of Till Lindemann laying on the rocks. It's a powerful and cinematic video with a theme totally new for Rammstein.

I've not actually seen any Matt Good shows, but from the live recordings I've heard, I like "Blue Skies.." best.

Same here. All I wanted was for her to get off of the stage. Get Auf Der Stage? That wasn't funny ever. Ironically, in German "auf der" can mean "on the" or "at the" "in the" and the like. So the joke though obviously meant as "get off the stage" actually means "go onto the stage."

I never did like the music of Wu-Tang Clan, although I have one of their sweaters for some reason, it looks kinda cool I guess. Anyways, back on topic, may he rest in peace.

They say he's likely to be replaced by Condi Rice, since I don't like either of them, I guess I'm not terribly enthused.

It was probably only tolerable because as a guy, you had her to look at as "eye candy" for a distraction from the music. Come to think of it, you're probably right. But it only works to a degree, if somebody really just plain sucks musically, then no amount of attractiveness in the world can make the music listenable to.

Saw her perform once on some late at night talk-show, the music wasn't great, but tolerable. I think she's relatively attractive.

I've got a couple of friends who are of that ethnic group and they find "Inuit" more demeaning because it's as they put it "just trying to be poltically correct" or "condescending." So when they're asked what their race is, they usally say "Alaskan Native" or just "Eskimo."

I heard it was the other way around.

Everybody wanted Alaska in the first place, it has Eskimos, and Eskimos kick ass.

Talented? Maybe the elecrontic sample/DJ guy is pretty skillful. But they got 9 members, some whom are stuck with the very, very musical task of hitting a beer keg (or a garbagecan maybe, I could never tell what it is) with a blunt object. What the hell, man? Sure I guess they beat ICP in the fact that they play instruments. But with lyrics like "I wanna slit your throat and fuck the wound" ...as far as subject matter goes... they're probably right on par with each other.

Pfft, Alaska belonged to Russia first, that's how it should and will be.
