Well I meant by ordinary test pass/fail means you can't actually fail. From what I'm told there's no right or wrong answer for the questions.

It's the ink-blot test the psychiatrists give you. You look at the blob of ink and tell them what you see. There's no actual way to fail it though.

Given how much some people here seemed to love The Dears, I figured it was a band worth looking into. So now that I have the album, I think it wasn't.

Yeah, it's best to avoid Nader, the only reason he's running at all is not in fact because that he ever plans to win but because he has personal issues with the Democrats. He's not even going to be on the ballots here in Oregon from what I heard.

Fuel - "Falls On Me"

Was just watching about this on MSN, she says that she's never lip-synced any performance before even though almost all the other artists do that. Both parts of that statement are BS I'm pretty certain.

I like some of his films, he's not the most capable of actors by any means; but as far as action hero flicks go, he's best, no question about that.

The other thing that gets to me is how this movie attempts to be deep and profound. Think of the seen where the homeless guy was stuffing his clothes with pages from the books for insulation, and then hands a book for the rich kid to do the same...Ooh, the rich are lowered to the level of the poor in a struggle to survive, very original movie/story theme.

I've been wanting to see this movie, ever since I saw the previews, which made it look really cool. So I rented it last last weekend. It turned out to be awful, and alot of things don't make sense. For example when the people are holed up in the library during the flood and the Russian cargo ship sails up to in front of the library. I must admit I've never navigated a superfreighter before, and my maritime experience is pretty limited; but I'm pretty sure a several-hundred-foot-long cargo ship would have some major difficulty cornering NY city streets in order to arrive at the library (especially without a crew ...which seems to have mysteriously disappeared) But ok, whatever, then the ship comes to a stop because it hits a submerged city bus. Not only am I not a ship's navigator, but I'm not a physics professor either, but I'm reasonably certain that a 5-ton bus wouldn't stop a ship that weighs thousands of tons. If that wasn't bad enough, these people holed up in the library know they lack food and supplies, yet they don't search the ship (which is loaded with enough food and medical supplies to last a ship's crew for months at sea) until the most inopportune moment to do so. Sure they had plenty of time, but they just had to make a run for the ship right before the storm made the temperature an unsurvivable low (and right before the computer generated wolves who somehow survived a massive flood and below-freezing temperature could try and chase them down). Plus throw in some really bad and cliched dialog, and cheesy sub-plots. That whole thing was just powerfully lame.

Hah! Almost intentional it seems.

Saw that clip on The Tonight Show, HI-larious.

That's not terribly unlikely, they all have really varying tastes in music. Christian Lorenz (their keyboardist) is a huge fan of Muse and Coldplay (even though this music is VERY un-Rammstein-like). Plus they've all been Canada and performed shows there, so ya never know.

Not by much though.

Heard this band for the first time yesterday on a friend's satellite radio. Seemed like pretty decent, is anyone here a fan or someone that would recommaned a song, video, album, etc??

There've been quite a few attempts at countering F9/11..Moore mentions such films and works of writing on his site. In fact quite alot of scrutiny went to trying to either verify or disprove the contents of Fahrenheit. Moore often publically makes the point of how ironic it is that people and the media go so far to look for every possible distortion he makes as just a film-maker and checks so many details; but completely disregarding the distortions and details on the part of the president.
