have you ever listened to the album Master of Puppets? And IMO, Metallica released the greatest music ever to be recorded on their "Live Shit: Binge and Purge" 3-CD set. It came out around 1991-1992. It is basically Metallica playing live during their peak, performing essentially their greatest hits up until that point. Best album ever IMO, and nobody should judge Metallica unless they've heard them live during their peak years (late-80's, early 90's). P.S. Matt Good is my 2nd favorite music act. But i don't really consider him a band. Nor did i consider MGB much of a band either. It was Matt, a hugely talented musician, back-up by a bunch of crappy musicians. To be MG is a solo artist essentially.

Canada has somewhat the same thing. We don't vote for our Prime Minister we vote for a guy who will sit in that party's seat in Parliment. And by the time the votes are counted in Quebec & Ontario the voting is essentially over. sucks to be western Canada.

Some of the Moore slants were kind of sickening and annoying, but its a really cool flick. The parts about Bush and his family's links to the Saudi's and the Bin Laden family was fascinating. If that stuff is all true, i honestly don't think Bush should be legally eligable to be president because he has a conflict of interest with the Saudi's/Bin Laden's. Overall i enjoyed the movie thouroughly.

yeah Bush was crap on the assualt-gun topic. He really has defense for that. Kerry was 100% right. I'm sure the police feel much safer busting into a house with legal uzi's and ak-47's floating around now.

I love Neil Young! Especially live (though never seen him live). He is a god on the guitar. The only album i have is "Rust Never Sleeps". can anyone recommend some great Neil Young songs for me?

Metallica. During their peak in the late 80's/early 90's i think they were the best band to ever grace the face of the earth. And nobody could even come close to touching them during their live shows. Best live band ever. Their songs are 3x better when they play them live. Like letting a lion out of its cage. The Beatles were great songwriters. But as musicians, Metallica blows them away. Kirk Hammett is one of the best guitarists ever. Cliff Burton is the best bassists i've ever seen or heard play. Lars is an pretty good drummer but not the best, but blows Ringo away. Ringo is a piece of crap as a drummer (though i love his singing). The Beatles are great, i like them. But they just aren't top for me. I'd likely even put U2 above the Beatles, and The Rolling Stones are right there as well.

Watched it all. It was a good debate, but Bush and Kerry recycled most of the stuff from the other debates. This was Bush's best debate so far IMO. He didn't go angry and crazy like the townhall debate. He stood toe-to-toe with Kerry through most of the debate. he actually landed a few good zingers. Kerry did well also as usual, but i didn't come away with anything huge from him like in the 1st debate. (maybe i don't give a shit because it was about domestic issues rather than stuff that affects Canadians and the world.) Overall i say it was a tie. But i think Bush will come away better from it because of his 2 previously crappy outings.

the video was not that great. Just Matt singing and moping around in a dirty old apartment with some clouds. B&W gave it some mood. Not the worst video i've seen but not something that makes me want to watch it again.

its been awhile since i've seen any Matt Good video! seriously. i don't watch MuchMusic as much as i did when i was in high school, so i miss the videos. I've never seen the anti-pop video. seen ASR like once.
