Playing COD: Black Ops multiplayer. It's the same damn thing as Modern Warfare 2 but with new maps. Virtually the exact same perks!! Geez guys don't go crazy with the creatively ;)

the shooter seemed quite literally insane, or at least tremendously disturbed. As for gun control, thats a dead horse. It's not my country anyways, they can do what they want on domestic issues. But i like where i live.

Tried the multiplayer demo for Bad Company 2. Wasn't impressed, the map they included sucked, it was so tiny. Might rent the game and give it a full go. I miss Battlefield 2: Modern Combat. That game was rad. if they fixed some of the glitches & fine-tuned the gameplay that could have been a massive hit of a game. The BC games just aren't as fun. ----- Been playing Splinter Cell: Conviction lately. Pretty cool game, i like the changes they made to the single-player. It was getting pretty stale by the last game. I like how its more action-packed, but you can still use lots of stealth. Don't like how when you are in shadows the entire screen turns black-and-white, it makes it hard to see things and especially where other light sources are for you to shoot.

saw it. funny, but not as good as the last one and probably not the 1st either. Godfather 1 & 2. classics. I think the 1st is slightly better than the 2nd. Though its hard to keep up with all the Italian names in the 1st movie. Will pop in #3 soon, i didn't mind it minus Sophia Coppola's craptacular performance

My thoughts are that Glen Beck is an moron. A moron with ADD and his own TV show is a bad combination. The fact that millions watch his show boggles my mind. People who compare U.S. politicians or policies to Hitler and/or fascism usually are using the concepts in a very inaccurate way. Beck and many other use these images for shock value at the expense of accuracy in their comparisons. As for Beck dressing up at Hitler or whatever, he is afforded such freedom of speech under the US Constitution. The US has no "hate speech" laws, unlike Canada. Those who are offended have the same freedom to express their displeasure. I have no personal feelings on it since i tend to ignore the man as much i can because, as i said, he's a moron.

holy shit that is quite the change!

Campaign started out kinda cool but overall found it "meh". Feels like a rehash of the other games. The story was also so-so, it certainly wasn't as epic as the other Halo's & characterization of the crew you're fighting with was crap, they didn't focus on them at all or flesh them out. And like Halo 3, the campaign was pretty short. The spaceship level was awesome though. Multiplayer is meh, just more of the same. The DMR is a piece of crap compared to the Battle Rifle from the other Halos, and virtually all the new maps are garbage. Ridiculas when the best ones are remakes. Forge is awesome though, ive downloaded some amazing maps people have made. People have recreated almost every map from Halo 2 using Forge and some of them are extremely accurate.

be prepared to be disappointed. Here's a hint, all the Canadian parties & their leaders suck, though some more than others. It's yours and every Canadian's (are you even a Canadian yet & have voting rights? Doubt it.) job to figure out which party/leader sucks the least then vote accordingly. And some may argue that most all politicians in all nations suck. Well maybe so, but the bunch of Canadian quacks in leadership power right now for their respective parties are an especially sucky group of sucks that out-suck most sucky suckers.

Yes. The most addicting games of all-time. I love Civilization Revolutions on consoles too.

I am, got it pre-ordered. This and Halo 3 are the only games i've ever pre-ordered. Played the series since the original on me old Xbox. Thought it was good nothing super amazing. Decided on a whim to get Halo 2 when it came out and fell in love with the online multiplayer. Played literally thousands of hours of that game with friends online over a few years...until i finally got sick of it. Picked up Halo 3 and enjoyed the campaign & epic story, and while the multiplayer was improved i was just too sick of Halo online to get addicted to it. ODST was pretty good too, i hope they improve Firefight mode for Reach and make it as fun as the similar Gears of War 2 gametype. Looking forward to the Reach story campaign. Last hurrah for Bungie, should be pretty cool. Glad i get to shoot a lot of Elites again, thems is badass. All new maps for online & some tweaks cant be a bad thing either.

8/10 Lost

TMNT II - Secret of the Ooze - somehow never watched this before all the way through (especially since i was a massive Vanilla Ice fan back in the day). Pretty good, though not as good as the 1st, but April was hotter in this one: 7.5/10 LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring - a classic. 10/10 Gandhi - love this film, truly inspiring is the life of Gandhi. 10/10 Also been watching some documentaries on the history of rock and roll. "Rock & Roll" by PBS made in 1995 is a 10-part (10, one-hour episodes) tv series. Extremely well done in the first few episodes, but gets bogged down a little in explaining the late 60's. ie: spends an entire episode on "psychedelic" music like the Grateful Dead, while ignoring a bunch of other music. But hits all the big names like Hendrix/Dylan/Doors/Clapton/Rolling Stones. Oddly mentions very little about Hendrix at Woodstock, and doesn't say anything about his Star-Spangled Banner performance.
