Contest is now closed it says, winners announced soon. If i win i'm definitely bringing a lot of Bored members, I probably only know like 3 friends who are fans so I'd rather let the rest of the spots go to Bored people who would enjoy it. I entered every freaking day i had internet access over the past 2 months (so minus a few weekends at the cottage), plus had my sister enter a few times.

Yup i remember this clip. Don't know the specifics but it's from the last few years. Likely a demo he was fooling around with and plopped up on his site.

spelling error lol, i meant "conversation".

Owen, i agree with most of what u said in your long post, minus the stuff between you and Muran cuz i haven't followed your conversion & is really not my business. Religion has caused the deaths of so many millions of people, the Wars of Reformation being a good example, and was one of the factors leading to & perpetuation the colonialism of what are now most of the poorest & internally violent countries in the world. I wish the Old Testament never existed, because its mostly a pile of garbage with few redeeming qualities. The New Testament , on the other hand, i believe is, for the most part, a book where people can learn some great life lessons from. Whether he was the son of god or not, or if even said te tings attributed to him, Jesus was an awesome guy. Loving, empathetic, tolerant, forgiving, and non-violent. He didn't hate gays or subjugate women etc. The problem is that the vast majority of those who believe in him don't even follow is teachings!!! America, the nation of a strong Christian majority, has the death penalty in many states, and not to mention the 50 billion un-Christian policies its church-going leaders support. But as you elude to, region screws it all up, and makes it about power and dogma. As for the science, i believe that agnosticism is the only scientifically valid position. The existence of god(s), aka a being of great power that created our universe, is theoretically possible, but there is no evidence for or against it, so we cant prove it nor disprove it because it is unknowable. Atheism draws a conclusion even though science doesn't yet know how our universe was created & nobody has been empirically observed to have traveled beyond our universe or go back in time to find out.

I was the same at first. I tried the demo, and i got to the first Colossus but couldn't figure out how to beat it, so i quit. Years later I borrowed it from a friend, figured it out, and then the game was amazing, probably my favorite PS2 game ever. If u didnt get to the 1st Colossus then you barely played the game since that happens only like 20 minutes into the game.

I adore LOTGA. Most of the songs are fantastic. His vocals are amazing.

God is a woman. And the most incredibly gorgeous woman you've ever laid eyes on. I want to have sex with that woman. I want to make love to God.

A few weeks ago Matt posted on his blog a list of songs being focused on in rehearsals to be played during the upcoming tour. He said that the full band is focusing on a list of 27 songs, plus he posted another list of 16 songs (if you include While We Were Hunting Rabbits) that could be played solo acoustic in the encores. Go here for his list of songs. Given that he'll play about 12 songs in the main set and about 4 songs in the encore during each show, your job is to choose 12 songs from the 1st list of 27 songs that you would ideally like to hear during the full-band main set of a concert on the upcoming tour (just pretend that you'll only get to see one show, no matter if you're actually going to more or to none), and then choose an additional 4 songs from the list of 15 (plus 'Rabbits') solo acoustic songs you'd most like to hear during the encore (yes i know he may not play all solo stuff in the encore, just play along). RULE: you can't take a song on his acoustic list and put it on your full-band "main set" list and vice versa. GO!! My setlist (in no order): MAIN SET: How It Goes Shallow's Low Non Populus Zero Orchestra Great Whales Of The Sea Volcanoes Blue Skies Over Bad Lands Weapon Black Helicopter Hello Time Bomb Avalanche Lights Of Endangered Species ENCORE: While We Were Hunting Rabbits Fated Bright End of Nowhere Prime Time Deliverance Man, choosing the encore was tough!

I feel ya man, but it is relevant. I don't believe in the conspiracy theories, but if they were true, that's a freaking bombshell that would rock the world like few other in modern history. Tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, have also already died in the "war on terror", most of them innocent civilians, so me thinks it would be quite important if it indeed turned out to be all a sham and they died for nothing. As I said I don't believe the theories, but I am a strong supporter of questioning government, and I see no harm in at least investigating the possibility. I don't believe in the theories because the logistics are unrealistic, not because the US gov wouldn't attempt something so vile. As for this coming 9/11, indeed it is for the victims, the heroes, and the families.

Not if u keep buying them. Finished Duke Nukem Forever, the game itself was very rough around the edges but not as bad as the reviews. If you love Duke you'll have some fun with this game for sure. Worth a rent. Finally finished Tomb Raider: Legend, which had been sitting on my shelf for a few years half-finished. Pretty good game, and actually a surprisingly good story (though it ended with a stupid cliffhanger). Got addicted again to Civilization Revolution. --------------- Tons of great games coming out for the Holiday season! Interested in: -Gears of War 3 -Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim -Call of Duty MW 2 -Battlefield 3 -Lord of the Rings: War in the North - new Tomb Raider - new UFC game

I remember watching the interview the OP is talking about, and he did discuss that idea for the new album, and did mention he would like to record in some smaller, more offbeat cities/towns ie: Peterborough instead of Toronto. He was talking about recording the songs in a studio, not live during a show. IIRC he also mentioned one of the problems of this album idea would be finding appropriate recording studios in these smaller towns. I'd imagine a major problem when scheduling this tour is that he'd have to make sure there is both an open venue available for his regular concert and studio time available in every city he wanted to record in, which would be challenging. I say who knows, it was just an idea he had and those can change like the wind.

freaking epic movie, so underrated. 50x more faithful to the original books. Scared the crap out of me as a kid....those wheelers! And i love Tic-Tok.

Yeah. That was a bit weird about his letter, and also i guess expected. Jack was a typical politician who blew smoke up the ass like all the rest. But he was a fighter and a leader, RIP. Cancer sucks.

He's talentless because he sucks, and pretty much 95% of the male population could make annoying screaming grunts as good or better than he did. On the first record he had no musical talent. zero. He made the band worse musically. He got a lot better on the other albums though, but i'm sure that's the result of some fine producers who did some computer magic and lowered him in the mix a bit, and maybe taught the guy what 'music' is and what good screamo actually sounds like. Obviously there were a million other people who agreed with me. I love the first album despite George. They're an awesome band, despite George. The 2 guitarists were especially amazing musicians. One thing i'll give him credit for is that he brought awesome energy to the live show What set the band apart musically is that they made awesome songs and and could play the shit out of their instruments. Waterwings or .44 Caliber Love Letter etc. are amazing songs even if they had no vocals at all.

You left out the best part of his post. The picture of the girls' tits. Now i'm mad about tits too.

What in the fucking balls are you talking about? If there was some kind of discussion about tits happening anywhere on this earth, you're god damn fucking sure i would know about it.
