8/10 - Love Amy Schumer and Judd Apatow but this one wasn't great. John Cena and Lebron James were underrated in this one. The Revenant

I love the line "I wanna wake to be a has-been".

I love the "Cool" at the end of Prime Time Deliverance (the Rooms version), as well as the little sample at the end of the song, "for freedom or democracy". That side of In A Coma is fantastic in general.

Never really thought about that until you mentioned it. I wasn't sure if it's because he usually plays Weapon before the encore, so he puts his glasses on so he can go backstage without doubling back to grab them when the song is done.

It is.

Watched The Overnight over the weekend. It's about a couple (Adam Scott and Taylor something from Orange is the New Black) who move to a new neighbourhood and meet another couple (Jason Schwartzman) who they spend an evening with. It looked pretty good from the previews, but it ended up not being that great. Starts out good, finishes weird. It's on Nexflix now.

Need New Music Recommendations

I'm not an expert on Dan, just having gotten into him with his newest album, Club Meds. I think i posted the video in this thread one song from that, Mouthpiece. The whole album is pretty great though. For the Gaslight, I can help with that: The 59 Sound is probably their best album https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7XJcQVXtuY. Every song on is it great. Here are some of my personal favourites: The 59 Sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1lq40tR72Q Here's Looking at You, Kid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKN0HHyM3Hk American Slang: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAqbnTKQBIY 45: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oST77VRHXt0 Blue Jeans and White T Shirts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CjsKO8AzzA Enjoy man! Let me know if you want any of this music. -

Brian Fallon from the Gaslight Anthem has a new single out, and a solo record coming out in March. I've been a big fan of Gaslight since they came out, even though the last record wasn't very good. This first single is pretty good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OReOjoDaVQ -
I'd agree with that. I think Chaotic Neutral is a little more accessible, so I can see it winning. But Club Meds is one of my favourite albums from the past year.

I share your disgust. Just another reason why the Junos are such bullshit. That being said, I think Matt has a pretty good chance of winning. The Sheepdogs would probably be the favourite to win. I personally don't like them, but they're fairly popular. DFA had a good album, but they're still pretty "indie" compared to the others. I'm assuming Matt won't be attending, either way.

I remember that blog post too. That's very cool. Matt, we need to start a collective for you, to get you a copy of everything you've done. You should put that shit in a display case or something!!

What Videogame(s) Are You Playing Right Now?

I just got my code for The Division beta last night. Going to hop on tonight to try to get as much out of the game as I can in a very short time. -
Nice Matt. Now you just have to stay that way, which is the hardest part!

I think McDonald's is one of the better coffee brands out there. I used to find Tim Horton's coffee was always inconsistent. The cream and sugar was always different. Starbucks coffee is good, but not worth the price.

Man, now I think I can justify ordering those now. Since I'm finishing my basement right now, I'll finally have a place to put a turntable. I'm definitely ordering at least a couple of them. -
I'm sure it's partially bias on my part, but there is some truth in the allegations. No one will likely ever know the full truth. Bands break up all the time. AOF has already done several farewell tours and shows, and they seem to keep going with it. I still don't like his music anymore, no matter who he's married to.

At The Drive In would be good. Loved them when they were around before.

Saw Sisters this weekend. It was pretty funny, although it was about 30 minutes too long. Worth watching on Netflix when it comes out.

I had to give up coffee last year, as it was killing my stomach. I tried a few sips of one that a coworker had bought me, and had immediate stomach pain. I have no idea why. I used to enjoy it though, and would drink at least a cup a day, sometimes a whole pot on the weekend. I had a Tassimo for a while, but I found the coffee to be too weak, unless you wanted a half cup, or you used two pods for one cup.

That's cool. She used to go by another last name when she was on The Score. She's from Toronto originally, I think. She was on the Score for a few years before she got the job as an announcer for WWE. She's on the WWE divas reality show Total Divas, and I think she's dating one of the wrestlers. Good to see MG get some love online. -
It's no easy task, to give it up. I smoked when I was fairly young, then gave it up for a while, due to both a girlfriend's nagging, and the lack of availability (being 14). Once I turned 18, I started again for some reason. I smoked almost a pack a day for almost ten years. It became quite a habit, literally. I think part of the difficulty of giving it up is the triggers that make you want to smoke. For me, the two triggers I had were work breaks and driving in the car. I couldn't take a break at work, or drive in the car, without wanting one. I literally had to go on my honeymoon to a foreign country, where I wouldn't have the temptation to have one. Coming back to work was hard after that. I basically had to stop hanging out with my smoking friends for a while, until the urge had mostly passed. It's a hard thing to quit, and I applaud you if you decide to. The reality is, pretty much anything will kill you these days. Do what you want.

Right, our tour date on that tour got cancelled. I've seen them around since seeing them with The Reason. Average rock.
