I'll sign up for it. I really like the video entries, and it would be really cool to get an even more frequent and in depth look at the making of an album. The possibility of something like a soundcheck party or a day at the studio is a nice perk as well. I can't stand not being in the loop haha. Even though I'm sure anything posted on M+ that's worth noting will be available, or at least talked about here. I can count the times I've commented on his blog on one hand, but I may start getting more involved in that way if I'm in a paid membership club.

I'll answer two questions... My favourite episode of The Office (American version), would be "The Alliance" from season 1, it was the first episode I ever saw and it still hasn't been equaled. May favourite commercial.... I loved these FedEx commercials when they came out: I also think this is hilarious because describes my mom exactly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7zptjhuVe4 What's your favourite episode of Seinfeld?

I like both of them a lot... the first one reminded me of Parable as well. Sounds like the next album might have a really interesting vibe to it.

Luigi... I think because I always go for the side-kick after being a younger brother, always having to be Robin to my brother's Batman while playing when I was growing up haha. If you clogged a public toilet, would you go out of your way to find the proper person to inform of the situation?

Hmmm, sounds interesting. A lot of bands and artists are going to something like this as an alternative/creative way of making money beyond record sales. I think if something like this became available, I would go for it. I wouldn't pay for something like that with another artist, but I would with Matt. Anyway, if it was taken down really quickly, I would assume that it probably won't be happening after all. But who knows I guess.

I can't even remember the last time I puked that didn't involve alcohol. I was probably 12 or 13 but I don't even know. I never get sick, I haven't missed a day of school or work due to illness since I was 16 and I'm 19 now. I haven't been more ill that a chest cold or something in that frame of time.

Couldn't say for sure, but I went into HMV and picked up that album from The National the other day. I didn't look at the price before going up to the till, I just assume CDs are going to be something like $15 or so. So I get up there and it's over $30 including tax... wow. If I wasn't buying it on a gift card, I probably would have aborted that purchase. Mind you if I didn't have a gift card I would have just bought it on iTunes. The price on the sticker was $26.99 I think, when I looked afterwards. I'm still confused by that one. Have you ever gone into the washroom at work just to get a break?

This is a really fun idea I think... to answer the above question: Yes, I did until I was about 11 or 12 I think, I was afraid of the dark for sure. What would you attempt if you knew you could not fail?

I've become a pretty big Pete Yorn fan since I checked out "Back and Fourth" when Matt plugged it on his site. I've been trying to find his previous 2 albums, Day I Forgot and Nightcrawler for a while now, they aren't available on iTunes Canada. I've looked around a bit in stores for them as well, but haven't had any luck. Are these two albums not available in Canada or something? Anyone know anything about this? I find it odd, "Musicforthemorningafter" is available in iTunes Canada, I guess that was his first major release. But those two aren't, they aren't even available to order on HMV's website.

Has this thing died?

Yup, that's totally valid. You've have your opinion and I have mine (which I realize is in a very small minority on this forum). Neither opinion is wrong ;) I would definitely agree that Carmelina, Truffle Pigs and Rat Who Would be King are excellent songs (I beleive I said those are the highlights of the album for me). Like I said, most of the songs on the album are good, just not in my top MG songs as some of them are for you. Everyone has different favourites, that's all.

Well, for me, Audio of Being is my least favourite of all the MGB/MG albums. There is a lot of positive about the album still for me of course. The worst MG album would still probably rank in my top 10 or 20 albums haha. I do rock out to Carmelina from time to time. Tripoli is a very solid song, Truffle Pigs and Rat are excellent. The reasons I don't like to much may have a lot to do with how it came right after Beautiful Midnight (my favourite MG album). It just doesn't live up to it's predecessor for me, or really even to Underdogs. Man of Action is a pretty good song, but I've just never really gotten into it and is nothing compared to Giant. Anti-Pop could be Matt's worst song in my opinion, and if it isn't, it would probably be The Fall of Man. AoB has it's fair share of good songs though, but it doesn't have any great ones really. Songs like Under the Influence and Workers and good, just don't really stand out to me. Matt's vocals on this album are a very nice balance though. You can definitely tell the difference, probably due to his throat surgery. As mentioned above, you can start to hear the smoothness heard on Avalanche, but he still has some of the bite that was heard on earlier albums.

They brought out the saxophone for a song at the show I was at as well. Now that I've tried to remember, I'm fairly sure it was a cover. Yeah, I think I remember a cover with similar lyrics. I've listened to both their albums quite a bit over the last couple months, and I don't think that is one of their songs (don't have them with me right now though). I'm not 100% sure, but pretty confident that was a cover of something. -
